The world of Metro City was an ordinary place when MegaMind and Metro Man arrived. Everyone lived in harmony, unaware of the powerful forces that had been unleashed upon them.
One day, tragedy struck when MegaMind killed Metro Man. With the death of Metro Man, the balance of power was abruptly shifted and the fate of Metro City was changed forever.
In the aftermath of Metro Man’s death, no one stepped up to take his place. The city was lost and in despair until a new hero arrived in the form of Titan. Unlike his predecessor, Titan was more powerful than any hero before. He had the ability to shape-shift and control the elements, giving him an upper hand in any fight.
Unfortunately, instead of using his powers to protect the people of Metro City, Titan used them to wreak havoc and destruction. People fled in terror as the buildings of the city crumbled, leaving the inhabitants of Metro City helpless and without hope.
Seeing the destruction, MegaMind realized that he had made a grave mistake and that he was the only one who could save the day. He set out to face Titan and put an end to his reign of terror.
The battle between MegaMind and Titan was fierce and long. Despite his tremendous power, Titan was no match for MegaMind, who had come prepared for the fight. With his cunning and strategy, MegaMind was able to defeat Titan and restore balance to the city.
The citizens of Metro City rejoiced, grateful for their hero’s bravery and courage. For the first time in his life, MegaMind had used his powers for good and for the benefit of others.
The world may be a dangerous place, but with heroes like MegaMind, it can still be saved.
FADE IN:
EXT. SKYSCRAPER – DAY
The giant skyscraper towers over the city skyline, a symbol of power and wealth. On top of the building two warriors stand, facing each other in mortal combat.
MEGAMIND (Ferrell), a blue alien with a vast array of evil devices and menacing eyes, takes on METRO MAN (Pitt), a suave intergalactic superhero with a golden cape and dazzling smile.
The two battle it out, exchanging blows, Megamind’s weapons nothing more thanMetro Man’s playful toys. But when Megamind unleashes his ultimate weapon, it’s the end for Metro Man.
MEGAMIND
You might be able to fly, but you can’t dodge this.
The weapon strikes home, and Metro Man is no more. Megamind rockets away into the night.
EXT. SKYSCRAPER – DAY
The next day, Megamind revels in his victory. Finally he has vanquished Metro Man, the only thing standing in the way of him taking over the world.
MEGAMIND
I am the ultimate super-villain!
But then reality sets in. Now that Megamind has conquered his foe, what is there left to do?
MEGAMIND
Without Metro Man, what is left for me?
EXT. SCIENCE LAB – DAY
Desperate for something to fill the void, Megamind turns to science, using it to create a new being – TITAN (Hill), a hulking monster with a penchant for destruction.
Titan is the perfect villain for Megamind, but unfortunately in his enthusiasm he has created a monster too powerful to control.
EXT. CITY STREETS – DAY
Titan rampages through the city, laying waste to all in his path. Megamind watches in horror as his creation turns on him.
MEGAMIND
What have I done?
EXT. MEGAMIND’S LAIR – DAY
Realizing he has messed up big time, Megamind retreats to his lair, determined to find a way to stop Titan.
MEGAMIND
I need to think, to plan. I’ve been a super-villain for too long. It’s time I became a hero.
EXT. SKYSCRAPER – DAY
But Megamind will need help to do this.
His nemesis Metro Man’s faithful sidekick, Minion (Brand), needs to be revived, and the only way to do this is with a special serum.
Megamind rushes to the skyscraper to get the serum. After a huge battle, Megamind defeats Titan and retrieves the serum, reviving Minion.
EXT. CITY STREETS – DAY
Having defeated Titan, Megamind and Minion set out to rid the city of the chaos and destruction left in Titan’s wake.
The two work together as a team, Megamind finally understanding what it means to be a hero.
EXT. MEGAMIND’S LAIR – DAY
As the sun rises, Megamind and Minion return to the lair, victorious.
MEGAMIND
So this is what it feels like to be a hero.
Minion smiles, proud of his friend.
MINION
You were always a hero, you just didn’t know it.
