Prologue

As soon as William Cage grabbed the ancient artifact, he felt a surge of power course through his body. Suddenly, he had the knowledge he needed to break the cycle and end the war. He quickly formulated a plan and then rallied the human forces.
They fought bravely and eventually managed to win the battle. The alien armada was destroyed and the human forces had won the day. William Cage was hailed as a hero and the savior of mankind. The time loop had been broken and humanity was safe once again.
Chapter 6

CAGE

CAGE (surprised)
Me? I’ve never even seen a day of combat.
CAPTAIN JONES
You’re the best man for the job, Major. We’re counting on you. Now go!

EXT. BATTLEFIELD – DAY
We follow Cage as he leads his troops into battle against the overwhelming alien forces. As the fight ensues, Cage takes a single step forward and suddenly everything stops.

We see Cage waking up from a dream, in the same spot he was before the battle. He looks around in confusion and then realizes he’s caught in a time loop. He’s been thrust into a never-ending cycle of living and dying over and over again. He knows he must find a way to break the cycle.

EXT. ANCIENT TEMPLE – DAY
We follow Cage as he follows a blinding light and eventually comes across an ancient temple. Inside the temple, he finds an artifact and grabs it with both hands. This is the key to breaking the cycle.

We follow Cage as he rallies the human forces with a newfound sense of purpose. Eventually, they manage to win the battle and the alien armada is destroyed.

The officials explain that Cage’s actions have stopped a dangerous time loop, but more importantly, they explain that Cage has been granted a special power; the power of life and death. He has been chosen to use this power for the greater good and to help humanity.
Cage accepts the responsibility and decides to use his power for the benefit of mankind. He gives a powerful speech to the gathered officials, expressing his gratitude and determination to make the world a better place.
EXT. HUMAN MILITARY BASE – DAY
We follow Cage as he is escorted to a waiting transport, ready to begin his mission. He looks out at the bright sky and the cheering crowd with determination in his eyes. His journey has just begun.
