Chapter 1
It was a sunny morning in the town of Swallow Hubb, and Commandant Eric Lassard was ready to start the day. He had been the town’s top cop for the past five years, and was looking forward to another successful week of community crime-fighting.
The Commandant had a vision for the future of Swallow Hubb: a town with a low crime rate and an upstanding citizens. Taking a sip of his cup of coffee, he gave a sigh of contentment.
A knock on the door interrupted his morning reverie. Eric looked up to see his faithful sidekick, Sgt. Mahoney, standing in the doorway with a mischievous smile on his face.
“Hey, Commandant! I have a great idea I think you’ll like,” Sgt. Mahoney said. “Why don’t we recruit some ordinary citizens to help us fight crime in Swallow Hubb? We could give them some basic training and make them part of our team. What do you think?”

“I like it, Mahoney,” Eric said with a smile. “Let’s put together a Citizens On Patrol programme!”
Chapter 2
With the Commandant’s approval, Sgt. Mahoney quickly got to work on organising the Citizens On Patrol programme. He gathered up a group of 30 eager volunteers who were excited to help out with the crime-fighting effort.
The recruits quickly embraced the new challenge, and soon they were at the police station for their first day of training. Sgt. Mahoney was ready and waiting to show them the ropes of being a cop.

Chapter 3

The plan was that each C.O.P. would patrol a specific area of the town and keep an eye out for suspicious activity. If they saw anything that they thought was out of the ordinary, they would radio back to the police station and report it.
The C.O.P.s were a popular sight around Swallow Hubb. Whenever they were out, the townsfolk would wave and smile at them, grateful for the extra eyes and ears in the fight against crime.
The C.O.P.s were also soon joined by Sgt. Mahoney and Commandant Lassard, who would periodically patrol the streets to show their support for the programme.
The C.O.P.s were determined to make a difference, and as the days went on, the streets of Swallow Hubb became quieter and safer.

Hey, Commandant! I have a great idea I think you’ll like.
Commandant Lassard looks up as Sgt. Mahoney enters the room and smiles excitedly.
SGT. MAHONEY (CONT’D)

EXT. POLICE STATION – DAY
The next day, a group of 30 eager volunteers arrive at the police station for their first day of training. Sgt. Mahoney is there to greet them.

(to the group)
Welcome to the Citizens On Patrol programme! Today I’m going to be teaching you the basics of police work and crime prevention. Let’s get started!
EXT. SWALLOW HUBB STREETS – DAY
The C.O.P.s are out on the streets, patrolling their assigned areas and keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. Sgt. Mahoney and Commandant Lassard can also be seen, periodically patrolling the streets to show their support for the programme.
EXT. SWALLOW HUBB – DAY
The townsfolk wave and smile as they see the C.O.P.s out and about. Crime in Swallow Hubb is decreasing and the streets are becoming safer.
EXT. POLICE STATION – DAY
Commandant Lassard is standing outside the station, looking out at the peaceful town. He smiles in satisfaction.
LASSARD
The Citizens On Patrol programme has been a resounding success.
FADE OUT.
EXT. SWALLOW HUBB – DAY
A group of C.O.P.s is walking down a side street when they notice a group of suspicious looking individuals lurking in the shadows. The C.O.P.s cautiously approach the group.
C.O.P. #1
Hey, what are you guys up to?
The men look startled and try to hide something behind their backs.
SUSPICIOUS INDIVIDUAL
N-Nothing! We’re just out for a walk.
C.O.P. #2
Let’s see what you’ve got behind your backs.
The men reluctantly pull out their hands to reveal a bag full of stolen goods.
C.O.P. #3
You are under arrest.
The C.O.P.s handcuff the men and lead them away. The townsfolk cheer as the C.O.P.s put another criminal behind bars.
FADE OUT.
INT. POLICE STATION – DAY
The C.O.P.s are gathered in the police station, proudly displaying the stolen goods they recovered. They receive a standing ovation from the Commandant and Sgt. Mahoney.
LASSARD
Excellent work, C.O.P.s! You have done an amazing job in keeping the town of Swallow Hubb safe.
The C.O.P.s cheer in appreciation, feeling a sense of pride in their accomplishment.
SGT. MAHONEY
You all should be very proud of yourselves. You have made a real difference in this town.
The C.O.P.s hug each other and bask in the glory of their success.
FADE OUT.
EXT. SWALLOW HUBB – DAY
Commandant Lassard is standing in the town square, looking out at the peaceful streets of Swallow Hubb. The town is bustling with activity as people go about their daily business without fear of crime.
LASSARD
(quietly to himself)
Well done, Swallow Hubb.
The Commandant smiles and takes a deep breath, savoring the moment.

EXT. POLICE STATION – DAY
The C.O.P.s are gathered outside the police station, waving goodbye to each other. They have made a difference in the town, and they know it.
