Hetti was hesitant at first, but her aunt and uncle encouraged her to go and experience a new adventure. So Hetti packed her bags and set off on a journey to the Alps with her aunt and uncle’s neighbor, Mrs. Ditty, who offered to drive her.
Chapter 2: The Cabin in the Alps
As Hetti and Mrs. Ditty approached the cabin, Hetti couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. She had always wanted to meet her grandfather and now she was finally getting the chance.
When they arrived, Hetti was greeted by a tall, gruff man with a bushy beard and piercing blue eyes. He introduced himself as her grandfather, Max. Hetti was intimidated at first, but Max’s kind smile and gentle manner quickly put her at ease.
He showed Hetti around the cozy cabin, which was filled with books and interesting trinkets from his travels. Hetti was fascinated by the stories Max told her about his adventures all over the world.
Chapter 3: Life in the Alps
Hetti quickly settled into life at the cabin. Max taught her how to fish in the nearby stream and gather berries and herbs from the surrounding forest. They hiked up to the mountain meadows to watch the sunset and stargazed at night.
Hetti loved the freedom and adventure of living in the Alps, but she also missed her aunt and uncle and the familiarity of her old life. She often thought about writing to them and telling them about her new home, but she wasn’t sure how to express her feelings.

One day, while Hetti was out exploring the forest, she stumbled upon a strange man who seemed to be lost. He had a wild look in his eyes and was muttering to himself. Hetti was scared and tried to run away, but the man grabbed her arm and begged for her help.
She hesitated, but something about the man’s desperate expression made her feel sorry for him. She decided to lead him back to the cabin and ask Max for help.
When they arrived, Max took one look at the man and immediately knew who he was. He introduced himself as Jacob, an old friend who had been missing for years. Max was overjoyed to see him and invited him to stay at the cabin.
Hetti was confused by the sudden turn of events, but she trusted Max and was curious about Jacob’s story.

Hetti and her Aunt and Uncle are driving down a long, winding road. Hetti looks out the window at the passing scenery, her face etched with sadness.
UNCLE It’ll be okay, Hetti. You’re going to have a new adventure with your grandfather.
Hetti nods, but doesn’t seem convinced.
CUT TO:
INT. CAR – DAY
Hetti and Mrs. Ditty, the neighbor who is driving her to her grandfather’s cabin, are chatting. Hetti looks a bit more at ease now.
HETTI I’ve never met my grandfather before. I don’t know what he’s like.
MRS. DITTY Oh, I’m sure he’ll be just lovely. And think of all the exciting things you’ll get to do in the Alps.
Hetti smiles at the thought, but her expression quickly turns serious again.
HETTI I just don’t want to be a burden.
MRS. DITTY Oh sweetie, you could never be a burden. Your aunt and uncle just want what’s best for you, and I’m sure your grandfather will too.
Hetti nods, but still looks uncertain.

MAX Welcome, Hetti. I’m your grandfather, Max.
Hetti looks hesitant at first, but Max’s kind demeanor puts her at ease. She smiles and introduces herself.
HETTI Hi, I’m Hetti. It’s nice to meet you.
Max shows her around the cabin and tells her about his adventures all over the world. Hetti is fascinated and can’t wait to start exploring the Alps with him.

Max is teaching Hetti how to fish in the nearby stream. She watches intently as he demonstrates the proper technique.
MAX See, you just have to be patient and wait for the right moment.

MAX (laughing) Looks like you’ve got the hang of it!

HETTI I just don’t know how to tell them how much I love it here. I don’t want them to worry or think I don’t miss them.
Max sits down next to Hetti and smiles reassuringly.
MAX Just be honest with them. Tell them how you feel. They love you and want what’s best for you, just like you want what’s best for them.
Hetti nods and takes a deep breath. She begins to write, pouring her heart into the letter.

INT. POST OFFICE – DAY
Hetti stands at the counter, mailing the letter to her aunt and uncle. She feels a weight lifted off her shoulders now that she’s expressed her feelings.
As she turns to leave, she notices a strange man standing in the corner, muttering to himself. He has a wild look in his eyes and Hetti feels a sense of fear wash over her.
She quickly exits the post office, her heart racing. She can’t shake the feeling that she’s seen the man somewhere before.

HETTI I think this is it! The key to the treasure!

AUNT Hetti, we missed you so much. We couldn’t stay away any longer.
Hetti’s eyes well up with tears as she embraces her Aunt and Uncle. She can’t wait to tell them all about her adventures and show them the treasure.
