HENDERSON
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be locking up the cult members.
Mulder and Scully nod before heading out of the office.
CUT TO:
EXT. REDFORD STREETS – DAY
Mulder and Scully stand on the street and reflect on the case.
SCULLY
We may not have found the missing person in time, but at least we saved the others.
MULDER
Yeah. It’s been a case full of surprises. I’m just glad it’s finally over.
SCULLY
Me too.
Mulder and Scully share a brief moment of silence before heading back to their car.

EXT. MULDER AND SCULLY’S SUV- DAY
Mulder and Scully climb into their SUV. Scully takes the wheel and they set off on the long drive back home.
MULDER
Well, it’s been an eventful few days.
SCULLY
That it has.
The two sit in a comfortable silence for a few moments, soaking in the moment.
MULDER
You know, Scully, I’m glad I got to share this experience with you.
SCULLY
Me too, Mulder. Me too.
The two exchange a knowing look before Scully turns her attention back to the road. As they drive away, the setting sun casts a warm, orange glow over the snow.

EXT. MULDER AND SCULLY’S HOME – DAY
The SUV pulls up to Mulder and Scully’s home. Mulder and Scully get out of the car and head into their house.
INT. MULDER AND SCULLY’S HOME – DAY
Mulder and Scully enter their home and are greeted by their happy pets.
MULDER
It’s good to be home.
SCULLY
It sure is.
The two take their time, petting their pets and taking off their coats.
MULDER
Ready for a hot cup of tea?
SCULLY
I’d love one.
Mulder and Scully share a smile before heading into the kitchen.
