Prologue:

Captain Barbossa had long been believed to be dead, his body lost to the sea. But fate had other plans for the notorious pirate. He awakened in a darkened cave with no memory of how he got there. As he stumbled out into the daylight, he realized that he had been given a second chance at life. But at what cost?

Barbossa spent the next few weeks wandering aimlessly, trying to piece together his memories. He eventually made his way to the port of Tortuga, where he discovered that the world had moved on without him. His former crew had scattered to the winds, and his once formidable reputation was now nothing more than a fading memory.

But Barbossa was determined to regain his position as captain of the Black Pearl. He knew that his journey would not be easy, and that he would need allies to help him along the way. So he set out to find the one person who could help him – the young blacksmith Will Turner.

Chapter 1: The Return

Barbossa made his way to the small village on the outskirts of Port Royal where Will Turner now lived. He found the blacksmith hard at work in his forge, hammering away at a red-hot piece of metal.

“Will Turner,” Barbossa said, his voice low and menacing.

Will turned to face him, his eyes widening in shock. “Captain Barbossa?” he said, unable to believe his eyes.

“The one and only,” Barbossa replied with a sly grin. “I’m in need of your help, lad.”

Will’s eyes narrowed suspiciously. “What could you possibly need from me?”

Barbossa leaned in close, his breath hot on Will’s neck. “I need a ship, and I need a crew. And I need someone who knows how to navigate to the edge of the world.”

Will recoiled in horror. “You can’t be serious. The edge of the world is just a myth.”

“Is it now?” Barbossa said, his eyes gleaming with a fierce intensity. “I have reason to believe that there is more to this journey than meets the eye. And I need you to help me uncover the truth.”

Will hesitated for a moment, his mind racing with all the reasons why he should refuse Barbossa’s request. But in the end, his curiosity got the better of him. “Fine,” he said. “I’ll help you. But only if you tell me what this journey is really about.”

Barbossa smirked. “I’ll tell you everything you need to know. But first, we need to gather a crew.”

Together, Barbossa and Will set out to assemble a group of pirates who would be willing to undertake the dangerous journey to the edge of the world. They scoured the bars and taverns of Port Royal, looking for anyone who was brave enough – or foolish enough – to join their crew.

It wasn’t long before they had a motley group of misfits assembled, each with their own unique set of skills. One of the crew, a wiry young man with a wild mop of hair, called himself Ragetti. He claimed to be a skilled navigator, but Barbossa suspected he was more likely to lead them off course.

Another crew member, a muscular woman with a scar across her cheek, went by the name of Scarlett. She was deadly with a sword and had a fierce reputation as a pirate queen.

As they set sail, the crew began to realize that there was more to this journey than they had initially thought. Barbossa was tight-lipped about their ultimate destination, and Will wasn’t much better. But as the days turned into weeks, they all began to realize that they were headed for something truly extraordinary.

As they sailed deeper into uncharted waters, they encountered all manner of dangers. From vicious sea monsters to treacherous storms, it seemed like the world itself was trying to stop them from reaching their destination.

But Barbossa was unfazed. He knew that they were on the cusp of something truly incredible, and nothing was going to stand in their way. And as they neared the edge of the world, he sensed that their journey was only just beginning.

Chapter 2: The Map

Barbossa, Will, and Elizabeth set sail on the Black Pearl in search of Captain Jack Sparrow, the only one who can lead them to the edge of the Earth. As they sail across the seas, they come across various obstacles that slow them down. Tensions are high as they are not sure whether they can trust each other, but they all know that they need to work together to reach their goal.

Days turn into weeks, and they finally arrive at a port where they believe Jack may be. They scour the town, asking around for any information about his whereabouts. Finally, they come across a sailor who claims to have seen him at a nearby tavern.

As they enter the tavern, they see Jack sitting at a table, surrounded by a group of rough-looking pirates. They approach him cautiously, unsure of how he will react. But to their surprise, he welcomes them with open arms, offering them a seat and a drink.

“Captain,” Barbossa starts, “We need your help. We’re searching for the edge of the Earth and we believe you have the map we need to get there.”

Jack grins mischievously. “Ah, the edge of the Earth. A lovely place, I must say. But I lost that map some time ago. However, I may know where you can find it.”

He tells them of a pirate named Sao Feng, who has the map in his possession. But Sao Feng is wary of strangers and will not simply hand over the map. Jack offers to help them strike a deal with Sao Feng, but only if they help him with a mission of his own.

“Angelica,” Jack says, his eyes clouded with emotion. “She has been captured by Blackbeard, and I intend to rescue her. Will you help me?”

Barbossa and Elizabeth exchange a look, but Will nods his head in agreement. They all know that they need to stick together to achieve their goals.

Together, they set sail to find Angelica and Blackbeard. Along the way, they encounter a fierce storm that damages their ship, leaving them stranded on a small island. They work together to repair their ship, and Will takes the opportunity to talk to Elizabeth.

“Elizabeth, I’m sorry for what I did,” he says, referring to his decision to join with Davy Jones in the previous movie. “I want to make things right between us.”

Elizabeth looks at him, her eyes softening. “Will, what’s done is done. We can’t change the past, but we can try to make a better future.”

Their conversation is interrupted when they spot Blackbeard’s ship, the Queen Anne’s Revenge, in the distance. They prepare for battle, but Jack has a different plan.

He suggests they sneak onto the ship in disguise, pretending to be members of Blackbeard’s crew. Will and Elizabeth share a look, but they know it’s their only chance of rescuing Angelica and obtaining the map.

They sneak onto the ship and find Angelica locked up in a small cell. They free her, but their escape is foiled when Blackbeard catches them. He orders them to be locked up, but not before he reveals to Barbossa that he has taken control of his beloved ship, the Black Pearl.

“We’ll never defeat Blackbeard,” Barbossa says solemnly. “Not without that map.”

Jack realizes that they need to come up with a new plan, and fast. They all start brainstorming, hoping to come up with a solution before it’s too late.

Chapter 3: The Hunt for Jack

Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa set off on the hunt for Captain Jack Sparrow, hoping to get their hands on the map they need to reach the edge of the world. After days of sailing, they finally stumble upon a small island where they are told Jack can be found.

As they disembark from their ship, they quickly realize that the island is a hotbed of pirates and other unsavory characters, and they must tread carefully if they want to find Jack and the map. They make their way through the narrow streets, scanning the crowds for any sign of their old friend.

Finally, after hours of searching, they find him in a dark, dingy tavern. Jack is surrounded by a group of rough-looking pirates, all of whom are laughing at his attempts to tell a joke. Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa approach him cautiously, not wanting to startle him.

“Jack,” Will says. “We need your help.”

Jack turns to face them, a look of surprise on his face. “Will,” he says, grinning. “Long time no see.”

Elizabeth steps forward, a determined look on her face. “We need the map, Jack,” she says. “And we hear you’re the man to talk to.”

Jack’s smile fades. “Ah, the map,” he says. “You know, I was wondering when someone would come looking for it.”

“You have it, then?” Barbossa asks, eyeing Jack suspiciously.

“Not on me, no,” Jack says, shaking his head. “But I know where it is. And I’ll give it to you, on one condition.”

Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa exchange a knowing look. They know that dealing with Jack is never straightforward.

“What’s the condition?” Will asks.

Jack leans in, his eyes sparkling. “I need your help with a little mission of my own,” he says. “It involves an old flame of mine. Name of Angelica.”

The trio exchange another look, this one a little more wary. They know that Jack’s love life has gotten him into trouble before.

“What kind of mission?” Elizabeth asks.

Jack leans back, his face serious. “She’s in trouble,” he says. “Blackbeard’s got her captive. And I need your help to rescue her before it’s too late.”

Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa look at each other, considering their options. They know that dealing with Blackbeard will be dangerous, but they also know they need the map. After a moment of silence, they nod in unison.

“Okay, Jack,” Will says. “We’ll help you rescue Angelica. But then you give us the map.”

Jack grins, his eyes twinkling. “You have my word, mate.”

The group sets off, making their way through the dangerous waters to find Blackbeard’s lair. As they sail, they begin to plan their attack, knowing that they will have to be careful if they are to rescue Angelica and get their hands on the map.

But as they approach Blackbeard’s ship, the Queen Anne’s Revenge, they realize that things will not be as straightforward as they had hoped. The ship looms ominously on the horizon, and they can see Blackbeard’s crew scurrying around on deck.

“We’ll have to be quick,” Will says, his voice tense.

Elizabeth nods, her hand on her sword. “We have to rescue Angelica and get out before they can catch us.”

Barbossa grins, his eyes shining with excitement. “I’m ready for a fight,” he says.

The trio takes a deep breath and sets off towards the Queen Anne’s Revenge, ready to face whatever danger lies ahead.

Chapter 4: The Queen Anne’s Revenge

As the trio ventures to sea to find Blackbeard and Jack Sparrow, they come across the notorious Queen Anne’s Revenge, Blackbeard’s infamous ship. The sky above them crackles with lightning, and the sound of thunder rumbles through the air. The waves are rough, and the wind is fierce, making the journey treacherous.

The Queen Anne’s Revenge looms before them, dark and ominous. The ship is huge, with black sails and a red flag that bears the emblem of a skull with crossed swords. Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa know that their mission will only become more challenging from here.

As they approach the ship, they see Blackbeard on the deck, his massive frame dwarfing everyone else around him, including Jack Sparrow. Jack is tied up and gagged, his eyes wide and pleading for help.

Barbossa immediately recognizes the danger they are in and tries to steer the ship away, but it’s too late. Blackbeard orders his crew to fire upon them, and a fierce battle commences.

The scene is chaotic, with swords clashing, guns firing, and cannonballs raining down on both ships. The Queen Anne’s Revenge is a force to be reckoned with, and the odds seem to be against Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa.

As the battle rages on, Jack manages to break free from his restraints and joins the fight. His wit and charm are on full display as he expertly dodges and weaves his way around the chaos, taking on multiple pirates at once.

Just as the tide seems to be turning in their favor, Blackbeard unleashes a powerful weapon, a mystical sword that has the power to control the winds and sea. The ship lurches, and the wind changes direction, causing the trio’s ship to capsize.

Desperately fighting to survive, Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa wash up on a nearby island. Jack, having slipped away during the chaos, is nowhere to be found.

The island is barren and uninhabitable, with rocky cliffs and treacherous terrain. Will is badly injured and needs medical attention, and Elizabeth is equally shaken from the battle.

Barbossa realizes that they need to find a way off the island and rescue Jack before it’s too late. He formulates a plan to sneak back aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge under the cover of night and free Jack from captivity.

The plan is risky and dangerous, but they have no other choice. As night falls, they make their way back to the Queen Anne’s Revenge, silently creeping aboard undetected.

They quickly find Jack, who is weak and disoriented after being captured and tortured. They free him and make their escape, but not before being discovered by Blackbeard and his crew.

A final showdown ensues, with swords clashing and pistols firing. Will uses his skills as a blacksmith to fashion a makeshift weapon, while Elizabeth uses her wit and charm to distract the pirates and create an opening for attack.

In a moment of bravery, Barbossa steps forward and challenges Blackbeard to a duel, knowing that it will be a fight to the death. As they clash swords, Barbossa manages to get the upper hand and deals the final blow, killing Blackbeard once and for all.

The victory is bittersweet, as the trio realizes the toll that their journey has taken on them. They are battered, bruised, and emotionally drained. But they know that their mission is not over and that there is still more to be done as they set their sights on reaching the edge of the Earth.

Chapter 5: The Edge of the Earth

The ship had carried Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa for weeks on end, with no hint of any land in sight. The trio was starting to think that they had taken a wrong turn, but Barbossa was confident they were on the right path.

One morning, as they were eating breakfast, they saw a dense fog in the distance. Barbossa felt an excitement grip his heart as he ordered the ship to head towards it. As they drew closer, they could see the outline of a large island shrouded in mist.

The air around them grew colder, and the crew was uneasy. Barbossa, on the other hand, was thrilled at the sight of the mysterious island. He had heard tales of a place at the edge of the world and believed this was it.

As they approached the island, they could see that it was covered in a dense forest that seemed untouched by human hands. They anchored the ship and set off into the forest, unsure of what they would find. The mist was so thick that they soon lost sight of the ship.

After trekking for hours, they came across a group of ancient beings that seemed to be waiting for them. They were tall with long white hair and wore robes of gray. The trio was hesitant to approach them, but Barbossa stepped forward, introducing himself as the captain of the ship.

The beings spoke in a language that they didn’t understand, but Barbossa seemed to understand them perfectly. He spoke with them for some time, and the trio waited anxiously for him to finish. When he returned to them, he had a strange expression on his face.

“We can continue on our journey, but it comes at a great cost,” Barbossa said, his voice serious. “They want a sacrifice.”

Will and Elizabeth were taken aback. A sacrifice? Barbossa nodded solemnly. “We have to offer up one of our own, a member of our crew, as a sacrifice to these beings.”

The trio discussed their options, but it seemed like they had no other choice if they wanted to continue their quest. They sadly informed their crew of the sacrifice and asked who would offer themselves up.

To their surprise, a young sailor, John, stepped forward. “I’ll do it,” he said, his voice steady. “I’m not much use on the ship, and I want to make sure we succeed in our mission.”

Will and Elizabeth were touched by his courage and thanked him for his sacrifice. Barbossa led them back to the beings, where John was offered as a sacrifice. The beings accepted him, and the mist around them started to swirl.

An opening appeared in the mist, and the beings motioned for the trio to enter. They hesitated, but Barbossa urged them forward.

As they stepped into the mist, they felt like they were being pulled through a tunnel. When they emerged on the other side, they found themselves on the other side of the island.

They could see a massive waterfall in the distance and a cave behind it. Barbossa was certain that the map was hidden inside that cave.

They set off, and after some time, they arrived at the cave entrance. The cave was dark, and they had to use torches to light their way. As they made their way through, they encountered traps and obstacles that seemed designed to keep intruders out.

Finally, they reached the end of the cave, where they found the map. It was old and weathered, but it seemed to be complete. They had finally found what they had been searching for.

As they made their way back to the ship, Will and Elizabeth started to feel uneasy. They couldn’t shake the feeling that something was watching them, trailing them through the woods. But when they turned around, there was nothing there.

They reached the ship, and Barbossa ordered the crew to set sail immediately. They had to get to the edge of the world before it was too late.

As they left the island, they could still feel the eyes of something or someone watching them, and they knew that their journey was far from over. But with the map in their possession, they were one step closer to their goal.

Chapter 6: The Final Battle

The air was thick with tension as the Queen Anne’s Revenge sailed towards a dark and foreboding island, the site of the final showdown between Captain Barbossa and Blackbeard. The ship was battered and bruised from the previous battle, but there was no turning back now. The fate of the world rested on the outcome of this clash.

As they approached the island, the crew could hear the sound of drums and chanting in the distance. The island was shrouded in mist, making it difficult to see anything beyond the shoreline. But they knew that Blackbeard and his crew were waiting for them, ready to do battle.

Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, Jack, and Angelica gathered on the deck of the ship, each with their own weapon at the ready. Despite their differences, they knew that they needed to work together to defeat Blackbeard and his crew.

“Are we ready for this?” Barbossa asked, his eyes flickering over each of his companions.

“We have no other choice,” Will replied, his hand on the hilt of his sword.

“We can’t let Blackbeard win,” Elizabeth added, her grip tight on her bow.

Jack looked at them all and grinned. “Now, we must be quick and cunning. T’is the mark of a pirate after all.”

The crew drew closer to the island, their hearts pounding in their chests. As they landed on the shore, they saw Blackbeard and his crew emerging from the mist, their eyes gleaming with malice.

“This is it, mates,” Barbossa shouted, rallying his crew. “We cannot let Blackbeard destroy everything we hold dear. Let’s show him what true pirates are made of!”

With a battle cry, the two crews charged towards each other, swords clashing and cannons firing. The battle was fierce, and the air was filled with the stench of gunpowder and the sound of metal hitting metal.

Will fought with all of his might, wielding his sword in expert fashion. Elizabeth shot arrows with uncanny accuracy, taking down enemy after enemy. Jack was his usual agile self, dodging attacks and striking back with his trusty compass.

Barbossa led his crew with a fierce determination, cutting down any enemy that crossed his path. Angelica fought alongside him, her skills with a sword exceeding all expectations.

The battle raged on for what seemed like hours, but neither side could gain the upper hand. Blackbeard was a formidable opponent, and his crew fought with a ferocity that was unmatched.

But then, something unexpected happened. The mist surrounding the island began to thin, revealing a group of ancient beings standing watch over the battle. They were guardians of the Earth, and they had been summoned by Barbossa and his crew to aid in the fight against Blackbeard.

With their help, the tide of the battle began to turn. The guardians fought with a power that was beyond anything the pirates had ever seen, striking down Blackbeard’s crew with ease.

In the midst of the chaos, Will managed to get close enough to Blackbeard to deliver the fatal blow. Blackbeard fell to the ground, his body suddenly still. The battle was over.

The crew of the Queen Anne’s Revenge stood victorious, but it was a bittersweet triumph. Many of their comrades had been lost in the fight, and the toll on both ships was immense.

As they sailed away from the island, the crew took a moment to mourn their fallen friends. But they also celebrated their victory, knowing that they had saved the world from a great evil.

Barbossa looked out at the horizon, his eyes reflecting on the battles that had been won and lost. “We may be pirates, but we are also heroes,” he said, his voice heavy with emotion.

The crew looked at each other, their faces reflecting a sense of pride and accomplishment. They had saved the world, and they had done it together. As they sailed off into the sunset, they knew that there would be more adventures ahead, but for now, they had accomplished their goal.

Chapter 7: The Aftermath

The sun was setting over the Caribbean Sea, casting warm hues of orange and pink across the sky. Barbossa stood at the helm of the Queen Anne’s Revenge, looking out at the vast expanse of water ahead of him. His crew was busy on the deck, preparing for their next voyage. It had been a long journey, but they had emerged victorious. Blackbeard was no more, and the world was safe once again.

Barbossa couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had always been a true pirate at heart, and this adventure had been one for the ages. He had reunited with old friends and made new ones along the way. He had faced his fears and overcome impossible odds. But most importantly, he had found a new purpose in life.

As he turned to survey his crew, Barbossa caught sight of Will and Elizabeth standing at the back of the ship, watching the sunset together. They had been through so much together, and it was clear that they had grown closer throughout their journey. Barbossa smiled to himself, happy that they had found happiness with each other.

Suddenly, Jack appeared out of nowhere, a bottle of rum in hand. “Ahoy there!” he shouted, his trademark grin plastered across his face. “Looks like we’ve survived another adventure, me hearties!”

The crew cheered in response, lifting their cups in a toast. Jack took a swig of rum and stood beside Barbossa. “I have to admit,” he said, “I didn’t think we’d make it this far. But thanks to you lot, we’ve defeated Blackbeard and saved the world. Not bad for a bunch of pirates, eh?”

Barbossa chuckled. “Aye, it was quite the feat. But there’s always another adventure waiting for us, Jack.”

Jack raised an eyebrow. “Oh, really? And what might that be?”

Barbossa grinned mischievously. “Who knows? Perhaps we’ll find the Fountain of Youth. Or maybe we’ll discover a lost treasure that’s been hidden for centuries. Whatever it may be, it’ll be a grand adventure, I’m sure.”

Jack nodded in agreement. “That it will, Captain. That it will.”

As the night wore on, the crew continued to celebrate. They sang sea shanties and told tales of their exploits, each one more outrageous than the last. Barbossa watched from a distance, feeling content in the knowledge that he had found a family among these misfits.

As the festivities began to wind down, Barbossa approached Will and Elizabeth. “I must say, it’s been an honor to fight alongside you both,” he said. “You’ve proven yourselves to be true pirates, through and through.”

Will smiled. “The honor was ours, Captain. We couldn’t have done it without you.”

Elizabeth added, “It’s been quite the journey. We’ve faced death and danger at every turn, but we’ve come out stronger for it.”

Barbossa nodded. “Aye, that we have. But now, it’s time for you two to start a new adventure, one of your own choosing.”

Will and Elizabeth exchanged a knowing look. “We already have,” Elizabeth said. “We’ll be getting married soon, and we plan to start a new life together.”

Barbossa grinned. “Well, I’ll be damned. I always knew there was something between you two. Congratulations, and may your future be filled with happiness and adventure.”

As Will and Elizabeth walked off hand in hand, Barbossa couldn’t help but feel a pang of loneliness. He had always been a lone wolf, but seeing the happiness that Will and Elizabeth had found together made him realize that he too yearned for something more.

It was then that he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Jack standing beside him, a knowing look in his eye. “You know, Barbossa,” Jack said, “there’s always room for one more on a pirate ship.”

Barbossa raised an eyebrow. “What are you getting at, Jack?”

Jack shrugged. “I’m just saying, if you’re looking for a crew, I know a few people who might be interested. And who knows, maybe we’ll find that Fountain of Youth after all.”

Barbossa grinned. “Well, I suppose I could be persuaded. After all, what’s a pirate without his crew?”

As the crew of the Queen Anne’s Revenge set sail once again, Barbossa couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement for what lay ahead. The future was uncertain, but he knew that with his new family by his side, anything was possible.

And so, the story of Captain Barbossa and his crew continued, filled with adventure, danger, and unexpected twists and turns. But through it all, they remained true to their pirate code, living each day to the fullest and always seeking new horizons. For as long as the sea called to them, they would answer, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Scene 4

INT. CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW’S SHIP – NIGHT

Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa are standing on Captain Jack Sparrow’s ship, trying to convince him to give them the map. Captain Jack, with his usual charm, is being difficult.

JACK: “I’m not just going to give you the map, now am I? You’ll have to do something for me first.”

WILL: “What do you want us to do?”

JACK: “There’s a woman I need you to rescue. Angelica. She’s being held captive by Blackbeard on his ship, the Queen Anne’s Revenge.”

ELIZABETH: “Why do you need us to rescue her? Can’t you do it yourself?”

JACK: “Well, you see, Blackbeard and I have a bit of a history. Let’s just say I don’t want to get too close to him again.”

BARBOSSA: “And what’s in it for us?”

JACK: “The map, of course. It’s on Blackbeard’s ship. I’ll give it to you once you bring me Angelica.”

WILL: “Alright, we’ll do it. But how are we supposed to get on the Queen Anne’s Revenge?”

JACK: “I have a plan.”

He pulls out a small vial of liquid.

JACK: “This is a special potion that will make you invisible for a short period of time. You’ll be able to sneak onto the ship undetected.”

ELIZABETH: “And how do we get back?”

JACK: “I’ll be waiting for you on this ship. I’ll use my compass to track your location and pick you up when you’re done.”

BARBOSSA: “Fine. We’ll do it your way.”

JACK: “Excellent. Now, let’s go save Angelica.”

The group sets off into the night, ready for their dangerous mission.

Scene 5

INT. SHIP CABIN – DAY

Will, Elizabeth, and Barbossa are frantically pouring over a map on a large wooden table in the center of the cabin. They’re surrounded by stacks of books and nautical charts.

ELIZABETH

(exasperatedly)

We’ve been searching for months and we still haven’t found any clues about the map. We’re running out of time.

BARBOSSA

(pensively)

There is one last hope. The edge of the Earth.

WILL

(skeptical)

The edge of the Earth? That’s just a myth.

BARBOSSA

(smiling)

Is it? I have a lead on a map that could lead us there. But it’s not going to be easy. We’ll need to navigate treacherous waters and brave supernatural forces.

ELIZABETH

(determined)

We’ve faced worse before. Let’s do this.

WILL

(nodding in agreement)

All right. Let’s set sail for the edge of the Earth.

CUT TO:

EXT. SHIP DECK – DAY

The ship is sailing through rough waters, surrounded by thick fog.

ELIZABETH

(shouting to the crew)

Batten down the hatches! We’re headed into a storm!

The wind howls and the waves crash against the hull of the ship.

CUT TO:

EXT. THE EDGE OF THE EARTH – DAY

The ship emerges from the fog and we see a strange island shrouded in mist. As they get closer, they see a group of figures standing on the shore.

BARBOSSA

(whispering to Will and Elizabeth)

The ancients. They’re the only ones who can help us.

As they approach, the ancients signal for them to stop the ship. The trio disembarks and approaches the group of beings cautiously.

ANCIENT 1

(speaking in an ancient language)

Who comes seeking our help?

BARBOSSA

(speaking in the same language)

We seek a map that will lead us to the edge of the Earth.

ANCIENT 2

(nodding)

The map can be yours, but at a great cost.

WILL

(curiously)

What cost?

ANCIENT 3

(slowly)

You must sacrifice that which is most precious to you.

ELIZABETH

(confused)

What do you mean?

ANCIENT 1

(explaining)

Whatever is most valuable to you. It could be a material object, or something more intangible like a belief or a memory.

BARBOSSA

(determined)

We accept your terms.

The ancients nod and lead the group to a hidden cave on the island.

CUT TO:

INT. CAVE – DAY

The group stands before a glowing portal that seems to lead into another world.

ANCIENT 2

(pointing to the portal)

The map lies beyond. But remember, there is no going back once you enter.

WILL

(bravely)

We understand. Thank you.

The trio exchanges nervous glances before stepping through the portal into the unknown.

CUT TO BLACK.
