Prologue
Kelly-Ann, a young Australian girl, lived in a small rural mining town with her father and mother. Her father was an opal miner, and her mother was a worker in a nearby clothing store. While the other children in the town made friends and went on adventures, Kelly-Ann preferred to stay indoors and spend her time in a world of her own—a world of two imaginary friends named Pobby and Dingan.
The small town was filled with secrets and hidden mysteries, and Kelly-Ann often found herself looking for the answers to these hidden questions. But no matter how hard she looked, or where she looked, the answers seemed far out of reach.
One day, Kelly-Ann and her parents had a serious talk about her future and the need for her to move past her fantasy world and start living in the real world. Little did they know that Kelly-Ann’s journey into adulthood was about to be filled with unimaginable adventures, secrets, and heartache.
Chapter One
The following morning, Kelly-Ann awoke to the sound of her father’s voice calling from the kitchen. “It’s time to get up, Kelly-Ann! We leave in an hour!” he shouted.
Kelly-Ann groaned and rolled over in her bed, her eyes still closed. She had no idea what her father was talking about. Leave? But why? She lay in bed, trying to make sense of what was happening.
Suddenly, her bedroom door creaked open and her father stepped inside. His face was stern, but there was an air of concern in his expression as he looked at her. He crossed the room and put his hand on her shoulder.
“Kelly-Ann,” he said softly. “It’s time for you to leave this town. We’re going to Sydney for a few days, and it’s very important that you come with us. We’ll explain everything once we get there.”
Chapter Two
The entire drive to Sydney was filled with Kelly-Ann’s unanswered questions and her parents’ unexplained silence. What were they doing in Sydney? What had changed to make them leave so quickly?
The only thing they told her was that they wanted her to meet someone important. That was all the information they gave her.
When they finally arrived in Sydney, Kelly-Ann was surprised to see how different the city was from her small town. It was loud, crowded, and full of hustle and bustle. She had never seen anything like it before.
The car passed through the busy streets as Kelly-Ann looked out the window at the tall buildings and strange people she saw. She was mesmerized by the city, but at the same time, she was scared of it.
Chapter Three
The car stopped in front of a tall building with a sign that read, “Hearne and Hartwell—Attorneys at Law.” The car door opened and that was when Kelly-Ann’s parents finally revealed the truth.
They were taking her to meet with a lawyer, who was going to help them with a legal matter. Kelly-Ann had so many questions, but her parents stayed silent until they reached the lawyer’s office.
Once they were inside, the lawyer introduced himself as Mr. Hearne and explained that he was the executor of a will that Kelly-Ann’s late grandmother had left. He then read the will aloud.
At the end of the reading, Kelly-Ann’s parents had tears in their eyes as they hugged each other. It was then that they finally told Kelly-Ann that they were taking her to Sydney to meet with the lawyer so she could declare her inheritance as her grandmother’s heir.
Chapter Four
Kelly-Ann was completely in shock. She had no idea that her grandmother had left her anything, let alone an inheritance. She was so overwhelmed and didn’t know what to say or think.
But as the days passed, and Kelly-Ann got to know the lawyer, a new plan started to take shape in her mind. She talked to Mr. Hearne about her dream of travelling the world, and he offered to help her do just that.
With his help and the money from her inheritance, Kelly-Ann was able to start planning her adventure. She bought plane tickets and booked hotel rooms, and she even found a travel companion in the form of her childhood imaginary friends, Pobby and Dingan.
Finally, the day of her departure had arrived. As Kelly-Ann walked out of the lawyer’s office, she had a feeling of excitement and freedom. She was ready to explore the world and make her own story.
Chapter Five
Kelly-Ann and her two imaginary friends, Pobby and Dingan, set off on a journey of discovery like no other. Together, they explored the world, taking in the beauty of places they only imagined in books. They hiked through jungles, sailed the seven seas, and visited some of the most iconic cities in the world.
Kelly-Ann loved every moment of their travels, and was amazed by all the new experiences they encountered. But despite all the fun, there were times when the enormity of the world seemed to be too much for her to comprehend.
At times like this, Pobby and Dingan would comfort her and provide her with the strength she needed to keep going. As the trio visited more countries and met more people, Kelly-Ann found that her bravery only grew.
Chapter Six
After a year of adventures, Kelly-Ann and her two friends soon returned to the place that started it all—the small, rural town in Australia. They all had grown a lot and had many stories to tell.
The town had changed since Kelly-Ann had left, but she still felt at home. Her family had been worried when she left and were thrilled when they all returned.
Kelly-Ann had also changed. She no longer felt the need to escape her reality and was instead filled with a newfound sense of confidence and courage. Where she had once been shy and timid, she now welcomed new challenges with eagerness and enthusiasm.
For the first time, Kelly-Ann realized that she had the strength to make something of herself and create her own future.
Epilogue
Kelly-Ann continued to explore the world and find new opportunities. Eventually, she settled in a small village in the Philippines, where she started her own business teaching English.
Kelly-Ann never forgot her travels and her two imaginary friends, Pobby and Dingan, but most of all she never forgot the courage and strength she gained from them.
No matter what challenges and adventures life threw at her, she was always ready to face them head-on, confident and strong. And that is how she lives her life to this day.

Kelly-Ann is in the car with her parents, the sun streaming through the windows. Her parents look solemn, and Kelly-Ann can sense something is up. She doesn’t know what.

Why are we leaving so suddenly?

EXT. HEARNE AND HARTWELL – DAY
The car pulls up in front of a tall building. There is a sign that reads, “Hearne and Hartwell—Attorneys at Law.”

This is where we’re going?

INT. LAWYER’S OFFICE – DAY
Kelly-Ann, her parents, and the lawyer, Mr. Hearne, are seated around a table. Mr. Hearne reads a document aloud.

At the end of the reading, Kelly-Ann’s parents had tears in their eyes as they hugged each other. It was then that they finally told Kelly-Ann that they were taking her to Sydney to meet with the lawyer so she could declare her inheritance as her grandmother’s heir.
