There is a moment of hesitation in the room, as the magnitude of the task sinks in.
AVNER
We’ll need a budget, equipment, and intelligence.
GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL
You’ll have everything you need. And anything you need.
The government officials file out of the room, leaving the Mossad team behind.
RACHEL
What have we gotten ourselves into?
Avner looks at her, a hint of concern in his eyes.
AVNER
We’re going to do what we must. But we’re going to do it our way.

AVNER and his team of Mossad agents are gathered around a small table, maps and documents spread out in front of them as they plan their next move.
AVNER
Okay, we know that our next target is staying in a small apartment complex on the outskirts of Paris. We’ll need to move quickly and quietly to avoid any unwanted attention.
SHAPIRO
What’s the plan, Avner?
AVNER
We’ll use a distraction to draw the attention of any potential witnesses away from the building. Then we’ll move in and take out the target.
PAPA
What about security?
AVNER
We believe that our target is staying alone in the apartment. But we can’t be certain, so we need to be prepared for anything.
GAD
I have a small explosive device that we could use to create a diversion, if necessary.
AVNER
Good thinking, Gad. But let’s try to avoid that if we can. We don’t want to attract too much attention.
SHAPIRO
So, what’s the plan for the actual hit?
AVNER
We’ll approach the building from the rear, climb up the fire escape, and enter through the window of the target’s apartment. We’ll move in quickly and silently, and take him out before he knows what’s happening.
PAPA
And if there is security?
AVNER
We’ll have to improvise. But we’re prepared for anything.
INT. PARIS APARTMENT – NIGHT
The Mossad team has arrived at the apartment complex and is preparing to execute their mission.
AVNER, SHAPIRO, PAPA, and GAD are dressed in black and carrying silenced weapons.
AVNER
Okay, let’s move.
They move quickly and silently toward the building, staying close to the shadows to avoid detection.
As they reach the rear of the building, they see a lone security guard patrolling the perimeter.
AVNER
(shouting)
There’s a fire! Call the fire department!
The security guard rushes to the front of the building to investigate.
The Mossad team takes advantage of the distraction and quickly climbs up the fire escape.
They reach the window of the target’s apartment and silently break in.
INT. TARGET’S APARTMENT – NIGHT
The target is asleep on the couch, a gun lying on the coffee table in front of him.
The Mossad team moves in quickly, silently taking out the target with a single shot.
They gather their equipment quickly and exit the apartment, leaving no trace of their presence behind.
