The henchmen start to lower their guns, but Verone makes a move for his own weapon. In a quick motion, Monica shoots him before he can react.
VERONE
(coughing, dying)
You… you… betrayed me…
MONICA
(smiling)
No, Verone. You betrayed yourself.
The sound of approaching police footsteps fills the warehouse.
MONICA
(to Brian and Roman)
We need to get out of here. Fast.
Brian and Roman nod, as Monica unties them from their chairs. Together, the trio make a run for the exit, with the police following close behind.
As they burst into the bright sunlight outside, they pause for a moment, catching their breath.
BRIAN
(grinning)
Well, that was quite a ride.
ROMAN
(laughing)
You can say that again, brotha.
MONICA
(smiling)
It’s not often you get to take down a major crime boss and save the day.
They start to walk away, towards the horizon.
BRIAN
(smiling)
Yeah, but what do we do now?
ROMAN
(winking)
What we always do. Drive fast, live hard.
They all laugh, as they head towards the open road, ready for whatever comes next.

FADE IN:
EXT. MIAMI BEACH – DAY
The sun beats down on the white sand beach as Brian O’Conner and Roman Pearce sit overlooking the ocean.
PEARCE
So, what’s the plan, Brian?
O’CONNER
We’re going to steal Verone’s money and turn it over to the feds.
PEARCE
(chuckles)
You make it sound so simple.
O’CONNER
It won’t be easy, but with Monica’s help and our driving skills, we can pull it off.
PEARCE
(skeptical)
And what about the police? They’ll be all over us.
O’CONNER
We’ll be ready for them. We’ll have a distraction ready when we make our move.
PEARCE
(nods)

O’Conner, Pearce, and Fuentes stand outside Verone’s mansion in full gear.

VERONE
(chuckles)
It’s in my private jet, waiting for transport.
PEARCE
(raising his gun)
We’ll need the location and access codes.
Verone hands over a piece of paper with the information.
VERONE
And what about my cut?
O’Conner and Pearce exchange a look.

(smiling)
