The scent of bloodshed and dust hung heavy in the air as Selene and Michael ventured deep into the ruins of the old castle. With sword drawn and fangs bared, Selene led the way through the darkness as Michael followed closely behind.
They had heard rumors about this particular castle and, against better judgment, decided to investigate. Little did they know that within these walls lay the secrets of the past.
As they ventured further and further down the winding corridors, Selene could sense the presence of something dark and sinister lurking in the shadows, watching their every move. Michael seemed oblivious to the sinister presence but Selene continued on, her senses honed and ready for battle.
Suddenly, a loud roar echoed through the corridors, shaking the entire castle. Selene and Michael stopped in their tracks, a chill running down their spines. As they cautiously moved forward, they could hear the beat of wings in the darkness.
“What is that?” Selene asked, her voice trembling with fear.
Michael shook his head. “I’m not sure,” he replied, his heart pounding in his chest.
The beat of wings grew louder as the creature moved closer. Selene and Michael could make out the outline of a great dragon, its scales reflecting the moonlight.
It circled above them, its powerful wings creating a chill wind that blasted at their faces. As the creature descended, Selene and Michael could make out its features.
It was the dragon of Death Dealers and Lycans, the two clans that had been at war for centuries. This dragon had the power to unlock the secrets of their respective bloodlines.
The dragon descended, its eyes glowing with a strange light. It opened its mouth, revealing a glowing orb. With a loud roar, the dragons unleashed its power and the orb shot forward towards Selene.
A wave of energy engulfed her, penetrating her body and unlocking the secrets of her vampire bloodline. She staggered back, overwhelmed by the power coursing through her veins.
Michael, feeling the same power coursing through his veins, let out a roar of triumph. He leapt forward, hoping to reclaim the dragon’s power for the Lycans.
But the dragon was too powerful. It flew into the air, its wings beating with a loud roar. With a wave of its clawed hand, a blast of energy shot out and knocked Michael backwards.
Staggering to his feet, Michael looked up just in time to see the dragon disappear into the night, its power still unlocking the secrets of the past.

Scene 1 (Suspense)
INT. CAVE – DAY
Selene and Michael slowly make their way through the winding tunnel in the belly of the cave. Selene carries a torch, illuminating their way.
SELENE
We must continue if we ever hope to unlock the secrets of our bloodlines.
MICHAEL
But what if we never find what we’re looking for?
SELENE
We’ll find it. It’s here somewhere. We just need to keep searching.
They keep walking. Suddenly they hear a low rumbling, like the sound of a distant avalanche.
MICHAEL
What was that?
SELENE
I don’t know. Keep moving, quickly!
They run down the tunnel, but the noise gets louder and louder. Selene stops, holds up her torch, and gasps.
SELENE
Michael, look!
She points ahead to a series of scorch marks and soot covering the walls.
MICHAEL
What is it?
SELENE
It looks like… fire. Someone has been here before us.
Scene 2 (Fantasy)
EXT. FOREST – DAY
Selene and Michael burst out of the cave, the noise of the rumbling fading away behind them. They stop and take a moment to catch their breath.
MICHAEL
That was close.
SELENE
Yes, but it’s not over yet. Look!
She points up ahead to a large, ancient tree with silvery leaves.
SELENE (CONT’D)
The Tree of Life!
Michael stares in amazement.
MICHAEL
It’s beautiful.
SELENE
Legend says it contains the secrets of our bloodlines. We must find a way to open it.
She takes a few steps closer and notices a small, glowing door embedded in the trunk.
SELENE (CONT’D)
This must be the way.
Suddenly, an eerie voice speaks from inside the tree.
TREE OF LIFE
Greetings, Selene and Michael. I have been expecting you.
Selene and Michael look at each other in awe.
Scene 3 (Action)
EXT. FOREST – DAY
Selene and Michael stand facing the Tree of Life.
SELENE
What do you want from us?
TREE OF LIFE
You must enter the Tree and answer three riddles to unlock the secrets of your bloodlines.
MICHAEL
And if we don’t?
TREE OF LIFE
The secrets will remain hidden forever.
Selene and Michael exchange a quick look.
SELENE
We accept your challenge.
The trunk of the Tree of Life slowly opens and Selene and Michael step inside.
INT. TREE OF LIFE – DAY
Selene and Michael find themselves in a dark chamber lit only by a few scattered torches. The walls around them are covered in mysterious runes and symbols.
TREE OF LIFE (O.S.)

Michael looks around for the source of the voice, but there is no one there.
Scene 4 (Horror)
INT. TREE OF LIFE – DAY
Selene and Michael stand in the chamber, tense and ready. Suddenly, a powerful gust of wind whips through the room, extinguishing the torches. The chamber is plunged into darkness.
TREE OF LIFE (O.S.)
Answer my riddle, or be forever lost in the darkness.
Selene takes a deep breath.
SELENE
What is the answer?
The wind stops, and the torches reignite. On the wall, a single word appears:

Michael looks relieved.
MICHAEL
Honor. That’s it?
SELENE
Yes. Now we can continue.
They take a few steps forward, and the Tree of Life speaks again.
