Prologue

The infamous New York apartment building was known for its eerie history, frightening legends, and mysterious events. The building had a dark past, with stories of paranormal activity, unexplained deaths, and strange occurrences that sent shivers down people’s spines. Despite the warnings, a young couple, Rosemary and Guy, moved into the building with the purpose of starting their family.

Rosemary was a sweet and innocent girl, with a heart filled with love and hope. She had dreamed of starting a family with Guy, her loving husband and devoted partner. Guy was a struggling actor who was desperate for success and recognition. He saw this move as an opportunity to achieve his dreams, even at the risk of living in a building with a haunting past.

Little did they know, their decision to move into the infamous building would change their lives in unimaginable ways. They were about to confront the dark forces that existed within its walls, and the consequences would be devastating.

Chapter 1: The Move-In

Rosemary and Guy arrived at the ominous-looking building, apprehensive yet excited about their new home. The entrance was dimly lit, and the halls had a musty odor that lingered in the air. The elevator was small and rickety, and it seemed to take an eternity to reach their floor.

When they finally arrived at their apartment, they were greeted by a strange smell, and the place was in dire need of repair. The previous tenant had left it in a state of disrepair, and it was clear that the apartment had been vacant for quite some time.

As they began to unpack their belongings, they realized that their neighbors were unlike any they had ever encountered. They were odd and reclusive, and they seemed to be watching their every move. The couple tried to ignore their neighbors’ strange behavior, chalking it up to living in New York City.

But as the days passed, they began to experience strange occurrences. Doors would open and close on their own, and they could hear strange noises coming from the walls. Rosemary started to have vivid nightmares that left her feeling drained and exhausted. Guy’s anxiety and stress level soared as he struggled to find work.

Despite their growing concerns, Rosemary and Guy were determined to make the best of their new life. They began to explore the city, discovering new sights and sounds that filled them with excitement and wonder. They attended Broadway plays, visited museums, and enjoyed the delicious cuisine that New York City had to offer.

However, their happiness was short-lived as they soon discovered the building’s dark secrets. One of their neighbors revealed to them that the building had a notorious history of occult beliefs and practices. The apartment had been the site of unspeakable acts, and the building was home to a coven of witches who practiced black magic and human sacrifice.

Rosemary and Guy were horrified and felt trapped in their own apartment. They tried to leave, but the coven had a stranglehold on the building, and they were unable to sell their apartment. As Rosemary’s pregnancy progressed, she began to realize that the coven had plans for her unborn child.

The tension in the apartment building continued to rise as Rosemary and Guy found themselves in the midst of a living nightmare. They were surrounded by evil and darkness, and they were powerless to stop it. The couple’s once bright future was now uncertain, and they wondered if they would ever be able to escape the horrors that awaited them.

The sun rose on a new day, bringing with it the promise of hope, but Rosemary and Guy knew that their lives were forever changed. They were trapped in a building that held dark secrets, and they feared for their future and the life of their unborn child. They knew that they had to find a way out, but they had no idea how to escape the building’s wrath. All they could do was hold on tight and hope that they would survive the horrors that awaited them.

Chapter 2: The Pregnancy

Rosemary’s pregnancy was not what she expected. As the weeks went by, she became increasingly ill with constant nausea and exhaustion. She could barely leave the apartment, let alone take care of herself.

Her husband, Guy, tried to be supportive, but he was often absent, leaving Rosemary alone with her fears and anxieties. She began to have strange dreams that felt all too real, featuring dark and ominous figures lurking in the shadows.

As she drifted in and out of consciousness, Rosemary began to feel as though something was watching her. She could hear whispers and murmurs coming from the walls, and the air felt heavy with a sense of foreboding.

To make matters worse, her neighbors had become increasingly intrusive in her life. They would come over unannounced, bringing gifts and offering unsolicited advice. They seemed to know more about her pregnancy than she did, and Rosemary couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off about them.

One day, as she lay in bed, Rosemary heard a knock at the door. It was Minnie, her nosy next-door neighbor, with a cup of herbal tea in hand.

“Here, dear,” Minnie said, pressing the cup into Rosemary’s hand. “This will help with the morning sickness.”

Rosemary took a sip, feeling grateful for the gesture, but as she swallowed, she felt a strange sensation in her stomach. She put the cup down, feeling suddenly uneasy.

Minnie’s smile turned sinister as she leaned in close to Rosemary’s ear. “We’re all looking out for you, dear,” she whispered. “We want to make sure your baby is healthy and strong.”

Rosemary recoiled, feeling violated by the intrusion into her personal space. She felt as though her neighbor knew everything about her, including her deepest fears and secrets.

As the days went by, Rosemary’s condition worsened. She began to experience terrifying hallucinations that blurred the lines between reality and fantasy. She saw demons and monsters lurking in the shadows, whispering terrible things into her ear.

She tried to tell Guy, but he dismissed her fears, telling her that she was just being paranoid. He was distant and cold, and Rosemary began to wonder if he was hiding something from her.

One night, as she lay in bed, Rosemary heard a strange noise coming from the hallway. She sat up, feeling as though someone was watching her.

Suddenly, she saw a figure at the doorway, a dark silhouette with glowing eyes. She tried to scream, but no sound came out.

The figure moved closer, and Rosemary felt a cold, clammy hand on her forehead. She realized with horror that it was Guy, but he looked different, almost possessed.

“Hey, hey,” he said, his voice low and menacing. “Don’t worry, baby. Everything’s going to be okay.”

Rosemary tried to push him away, but he was too strong. He leaned in close, his breath hot and foul. “We’re going to have a healthy, beautiful baby,” he whispered. “And nothing’s going to stop us.”

Chapter 3: The Coven

Rosemary’s discovery of the coven changed everything. She no longer felt safe in her home, knowing that her neighbors were hiding something dark and dangerous. She became paranoid, constantly watching her back and fearing for her unborn child’s safety.

As her pregnancy progressed, the coven’s interest in Rosemary intensified. They would knock on her door at all hours of the night, offering her strange concoctions to drink and urging her to attend their gatherings. They claimed that they were trying to protect her and her baby from the outside world, but Rosemary wasn’t sure she believed them.

Her dreams became more vivid and disturbing, filled with images of the coven members performing strange rituals and chanting in an unknown language. She would wake up in a cold sweat, her heart racing, and feel as though someone was watching her from the shadows.

One day, when Guy was away at work, Rosemary decided to investigate further. She sneaked into her neighbor’s apartment, where she found strange symbols and objects scattered around the room. She opened a closet and discovered a hidden door, leading to a secret chamber.

The room was filled with people, all wearing black robes and chanting in unison. In the center of the room was a naked woman, writhing in agony. Rosemary realized that she was witnessing a sacrificial ritual, in which the coven was planning to offer up a human life to their dark god.

She tried to flee, but one of the coven members caught her and brought her before their leader, a middle-aged woman named Minnie. Minnie explained that they were a group of witches, who believed in the power of Satan and the importance of sacrificing to appease him.

Rosemary was horrified, but Minnie tried to convince her that the coven meant her no harm. They just wanted to use her baby for their own purposes. Rosemary refused to listen, telling Minnie that she would never let them harm her child.

Minnie smiled, revealing a set of crooked teeth. She told Rosemary that she had no choice but to comply, that they had already placed a spell over her and her baby. Rosemary felt a surge of fear, realizing that the coven had been manipulating her all along.

She tried to escape again, but the coven members were too strong. They held her down and began to chant, their voices growing louder and more insistent. Rosemary felt a sharp pain in her stomach, and a sudden dizziness overtook her.

When she woke up, she was back in her own apartment, lying on the couch. Guy was sitting next to her, holding her hand. He looked concerned, and Rosemary realized that she had no memory of how she got there.

Guy explained that he had come home early from work, and found her unconscious on the floor. He had called for an ambulance, and the doctors said that she had suffered from a panic attack. Rosemary felt relieved to be back in the safety of her own home, but she knew that the coven would come for her again.

She waited for Guy to leave for work the next day, then packed a bag and fled. She didn’t know where she was going, but she knew that she couldn’t stay in that apartment any longer. The coven would stop at nothing to get her baby, and she had to do everything in her power to protect him.

Chapter 4: The Sacrifice

Rosemary felt like she was walking on a tightrope, and one wrong step could lead to her downfall. She was heavily pregnant and vulnerable, and her neighbors were closing in on her with their sinister intentions. They had convinced her that they were trying to protect her child, but she knew deep down that something wasn’t right.

As the due date for her baby approached, the coven became increasingly obsessive and intrusive in her life. They would show up unannounced at her apartment, bringing her strange concoctions and insisting that she drink them. They would whisper strange incantations under their breath, and Rosemary felt like she was losing her grip on reality.

One night, Rosemary woke up to find herself surrounded by the coven. They were all dressed in black robes, and their eyes had a strange glow in the dim light. Rosemary could feel the tension in the air as they began to chant in a language she didn’t understand.

She tried to run, but they had already blocked all the exits. They held her down on the bed and began to perform a ritual that made her blood curdle. Rosemary’s screams echoed through the apartment building, but no one came to her rescue. The coven had cast a spell that made sure of that.

As the ritual came to an end, Rosemary felt a sharp pain in her belly. She realized that she was in labor, and her baby was coming. The coven members began to cheer and applaud, but Rosemary knew that something was wrong. She could feel the darkness creeping in, and she knew that her baby was not safe.

Through a haze of pain and fear, Rosemary saw Guy enter the room. He was wearing a black robe, and his eyes had the same strange glow as the coven members. He looked at her with a mix of pride and malice, and Rosemary knew that he had betrayed her.

“You’ve done well, Rosemary,” he said, his voice cold and calculating. “Our son is almost here.”

Rosemary tried to fight back, but it was too late. The baby was born, and the coven members took him away. Rosemary could hear the baby crying, but it sounded different, otherworldly.

She tried to get up, but she was weak and exhausted. She saw Guy walking towards her, and she knew that he was going to tell her the truth.

“We needed your baby, Rosemary,” he said, his voice calm and collected. “He’s special. He’s going to be the vessel for the devil himself.”

Rosemary felt a surge of horror and disbelief. She couldn’t believe that Guy had betrayed her like this. She looked at him with hatred, and she knew that she had to fight back.

“You’re not taking my baby,” she said, her voice shaking with anger. “I’ll fight you every step of the way.”

Guy laughed, and his eyes glinted with amusement. “You don’t have a choice, Rosemary,” he said. “You’ve already given us what we need. The rest is up to fate.”

Rosemary collapsed back onto the bed, feeling defeated and hopeless. She knew that she had to come up with a plan, but she didn’t know where to start. She closed her eyes and prayed for a miracle.

As she lay there, she heard a soft rustling sound. She opened her eyes and saw a small figure standing by her bedside. It was a young girl, dressed in white, with a halo of blond curls framing her face.

The girl held out her hand to Rosemary, and she felt a surge of warmth. She took the girl’s hand, and together they vanished into the night. The coven members were left standing there, confused and disoriented.

As Rosemary looked back at the apartment building, she realized that she had escaped. She had saved her baby from the coven’s clutches, and she had found a new ally in the little girl.

But she knew that the fight was far from over. She had to keep running, always watching her back, and always ready for the next confrontation.

Chapter 5: The Betrayal

Rosemary was in a daze, unable to comprehend the reality of the situation. Her husband, Guy, had been part of the coven all along. He had betrayed her and their unborn child. As she sat in the dimly lit living room, surrounded by the members of the coven, she felt a sense of dread wash over her.

“You’re one of them?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Guy looked at her with a mix of guilt and defiance. “Yes, Rosemary. I’ve been a member of this coven for years. I thought it was all just harmless fun, but I didn’t realize how far they were willing to go.”

Rosemary felt a sense of anger bubbling up inside of her. “You didn’t realize how far they were willing to go? They’re planning on sacrificing our baby, Guy! How could you be a part of something like that?”

Guy looked away, his eyes avoiding hers. “I didn’t know it would come to this. I thought it was all just a game, a way to feel like I belonged.”

Rosemary shook her head in disbelief. How could he be so naive? How could he have been blind to the true intentions of the coven? She felt a sense of betrayal so deep that it was almost physical.

The members of the coven began to circle around Rosemary, their eyes glinting with a strange hunger. They had been waiting for this moment for so long, and now that it was finally here, they were eager to claim their prize.

Rosemary stood up, her hands shaking. “I won’t let you take my baby. I won’t let you hurt us.”

The coven members laughed, their voices echoing around the room. “You don’t have a choice, Rosemary. You’re already a part of this. You agreed to have a child with Guy, and that child belongs to us.”

Rosemary felt a wave of nausea wash over her. She had been so foolish, so blind to the true nature of the coven. She had thought they were just a group of eccentric neighbors, but now she realized that they were something much darker.

Guy stepped forward, his face filled with remorse. “I’m sorry, Rosemary. I didn’t know it would come to this. But it’s too late now. The coven has too much power.”

Rosemary felt tears welling up in her eyes. How could she have been so stupid? How could she have trusted Guy, a man who had been a part of this sick and twisted group for years?

The coven members began to chant, their voices rising in intensity. Rosemary felt a sense of dread wash over her as she realized that they were preparing to perform the sacrifice.

She looked around the room, desperately searching for a way out. But there was no escape. The coven members had blocked all of the exits, and she was trapped.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. She doubled over, groaning in agony. The coven members laughed, their voices taunting her.

“You see, Rosemary? You can’t fight us. You can’t protect your baby. It belongs to us now.”

Rosemary felt a sense of despair wash over her. She had lost. The coven had won.

As she lay on the floor, her body wracked with pain, she knew that everything was about to change. Her life, her future, everything she had ever known was about to be taken away from her.

And there was nothing she could do to stop it.

Chapter 6: The End Game

Rosemary’s heart raced as she crept through the dimly lit hallways of the apartment building. She clutched her swollen belly, feeling the baby kick and squirm inside her. She knew that she had to save her baby from the coven’s grasp, even if it meant risking her own life.

Her mind whirled with possible escape routes, but every path seemed to lead to a dead end. She couldn’t shake the feeling that the coven was always one step ahead of her. She was running out of time.

The hallway suddenly erupted in a deafening chorus of chanting voices. Rosemary froze, her heart pounding in her chest. She recognized the voices of her neighbors, the members of the coven. They were getting closer.

Rosemary’s instincts took over as she realized that her only chance was to confront the coven head-on. She took a deep breath, composing herself, and stepped boldly into the midst of the group.

The coven members turned to face her, their eyes glowing with an unearthly light. They looked at her with reverence and fear, as though she were a deity. She felt a surge of power and dread wash over her.

“Rosemary,” the coven’s leader said, his voice reverberating through the air. “We have been expecting you.”

Rosemary stood her ground, feeling a newfound sense of courage and determination. “I’m here to take my baby back,” she said, her voice sounding stronger than she felt.

The coven members laughed, their eyes flickering with amusement. “Your baby is safe,” the leader said. “We have been preparing for this moment for a long time. Your child is destined for greatness.”

Rosemary felt a pang of fear in her chest. She knew that the coven’s idea of greatness was not aligned with her own. “I don’t care about your destiny,” she said firmly. “I just want my baby back.”

The coven members closed in around her, their eyes glowing with malevolent energy. Rosemary could feel their power pulsing through the air, threatening to overwhelm her. She took a deep breath, centering herself, and prepared for what was to come.

The coven’s leader stepped forward, holding a knife in his hand. “It’s time,” he said, his voice cold and commanding. “The sacrifice must be made.”

Rosemary’s heart raced as she braced herself for the worst. She knew that the coven’s intentions were far from benevolent. She had to act fast.

With a sudden burst of strength, Rosemary lunged forward and snatched the knife from the coven leader’s hand. She held it out in front of her, brandishing it as though it were a weapon.

The coven members hesitated for only a moment before converging on Rosemary. She fought back with all her might, slashing and kicking out at her attackers.

The air filled with the sound of clashing steel and guttural screams. Rosemary felt a surge of adrenaline as she continued to fight, her instincts taking over.

In the midst of the fray, Rosemary caught a glimpse of Guy out of the corner of her eye. He was standing on the sidelines, watching the chaos unfold. She felt a sudden flash of betrayal, realizing that he had been working with the coven all along.

With renewed fury, Rosemary fought back harder than ever. She could feel her own power surging through her veins, giving her the strength to fight back against the coven’s dark magic.

In a final burst of energy, Rosemary slashed out with the knife, striking the coven leader in the chest. He crumpled to the ground in a heap, blood gushing from the wound.

The coven members recoiled in horror, their eyes widening with fear. Rosemary stood tall, feeling a newfound sense of triumph and power coursing through her.

In that moment, she knew that she had won. But she also knew that the victory had come at a great cost. She looked down at her belly, feeling a sense of wonder and sorrow wash over her.

The baby kicked inside her, a tiny reminder of the life that had been at stake. Rosemary knew that she had to be strong, for herself and for her child. She took a deep breath, prepared to face the aftermath of the battle.

As she turned to leave, she caught a glimpse of Guy’s face. He looked at her with a mixture of fear and regret, realizing too late the true cost of his betrayal. Rosemary felt a pang of sadness, but also a sense of closure. She had triumphed over the forces of darkness, and she knew that she could face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Chapter 7: The Aftermath

Rosemary stood silently as she watched the police officers handcuff Guy and the rest of the coven members. She couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief mixed with a deep sadness. The nightmare was finally over, but the cost was immense.

Her baby was safe, but the trauma of what had happened would stay with her forever. She had fought tooth and nail to protect her child from the coven’s dark intentions, sacrificing everything along the way.

The media swarmed around her, trying to get a glimpse of the woman who had survived an encounter with a satanic cult. Rosemary felt like a shell of her former self, drained of all energy and emotion. She couldn’t bear to think about what had happened or what the future held.

The police officers took her statement and assured her that they would do everything they could to bring the coven members to justice. Rosemary nodded absently, not really hearing their words. She felt like she was floating, disconnected from reality.

It wasn’t until the next day that the weight of what had happened finally hit her. She woke up in a cold sweat, her heart racing as she relived the horror of the past few months. She stumbled to the bathroom and turned on the faucet, splashing water on her face.

As she looked up into the mirror, she barely recognized the person staring back at her. Her skin was pale, her eyes sunken and haunted. She knew that she had to pull herself together, for the sake of her baby and for herself.

Over the next few weeks, Rosemary tried to pick up the pieces of her life. She sought therapy to help her cope with the trauma and tried to rebuild the relationships that had been shattered by Guy’s betrayal. It wasn’t easy, but she was determined to move forward.

One day, as she was walking through Central Park with her baby in a stroller, a woman approached her. She was older, with white hair and piercing blue eyes.

“Rosemary,” the woman said softly, smiling at the baby. “You have been through so much. But you are strong, stronger than you know.”

Rosemary looked up at her, confused. “Do I know you?”

The woman smiled again. “No, but I know you. And I know that you have a bright future ahead of you. Your baby is a symbol of hope and love. Cherish him, and never forget what you fought for.”

With those words, the woman turned and walked away. Rosemary stood there for a moment, feeling a sense of peace wash over her. She didn’t know who the woman was or how she knew her name, but she felt like it didn’t matter.

She had survived. She had fought for her baby and won. And now, she had a chance to start over.

As she walked away, pushing the stroller in front of her, Rosemary felt a glimmer of hope. She didn’t know what the future held, but she knew that she was ready to face it. She had been through Hell and back, but she had come out the other side.

The end of one nightmare was the beginning of a new chapter in her life, and Rosemary was ready to turn the page.

Rosemary, I know you’re worried about the neighbors, but they’re harmless.

I don’t believe that. They’re part of a coven, Guy. They want our baby.

GUY

What are you talking about?

ROSEMARY

I saw something tonight. In their apartment.

GUY

What did you see?

ROSEMARY

They were performing some sort of ritual. And they mentioned something about sacrificing a baby.

Rosemary, I swear to you, they’re not going to hurt our baby.

The members move towards her, but she holds up the book and begins to recite from it. The coven members scream as they are engulfed in flames.

CUT TO:

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM – DAY

Rosemary wakes up in a hospital room, holding her newborn baby. Guy is standing at her side.

GUY

(apologetically)

I’m sorry, Rosemary. I never should have gotten involved with them.

ROSEMARY

(resigned)

It’s too late for apologies, Guy.

She hands him the baby.

ROSEMARY

(sternly)

But I will never forgive you for what you did.

Guy looks down at the baby, tears streaming down his face.

GUY

(tearfully)

I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you.

Rosemary nods, and the two sit in silence as the baby sleeps peacefully.

FADE TO BLACK.
