As they crack the vault open, they encounter a new problem: the guards have brought out a new state-of-the-art security system that they need to bypass. Basher, the explosives expert, comes up with a plan to use a powerful electromagnet to disable the security system.
With the security system down, the team loads the cash into bags and makes their way to the getaway van. But just as they’re about to make their escape, they’re confronted by Terry Benedict, the owner of the casinos and Tess’s current boyfriend.
Benedict is holding Tess at gunpoint, demanding that the team return his money. Danny tries to negotiate, but Benedict is ruthless and won’t back down. Just when it seems all is lost, the team gets a surprising assist from an unexpected source.
Rusty’s ex-girlfriend, Isabel Lahiri, arrives on the scene and offers to help. She’s an agent with the FBI and has been tracking the team’s every move. Rusty is shocked and betrayed, but Isabel is genuinely interested in helping him and the team.

He wonders if he should have stayed with the team and continued his life of crime, but he knows that he needs to leave that life behind if he ever wants to find true happiness.
As for Rusty Ryan, he’s a man without a plan. He’s always been Danny’s right-hand man, but now that the heist is over, he doesn’t know what to do with himself. He meets up with an old flame, Isabel Lahiri, and they reconnect over drinks. Isabel is still a federal agent, but Rusty can tell that she’s contemplating a change of career. They talk about the heist and Rusty wonders out loud if they could have done anything differently.
But then, just when they think they’ve put the heist behind them, they receive a mysterious message from someone who claims to have footage of their crime. The team reunites in a panic, trying to figure out who has the evidence and how they can keep it from being released to the authorities.
They trace the message back to an old enemy, Terry Benedict. Benedict is still bitter about the heist and he’s out for revenge. He demands that the team return the money they stole or he’ll go public with the footage.
Danny and Rusty come up with a plan to take Benedict down once and for all. They gather the team and put their skills to the test, pulling off one final heist that even surpasses the original. They reclaim their stolen money and leave Benedict penniless.
In the aftermath of their triumph, the team decides to go their separate ways. Danny and Tess finally set off on their own, trying to recapture what they once had. The others move on to new lives and new careers, but they always remember the thrill of the heist and the bonds they formed as a team.

Danny sits at a bar, sipping a drink. RUSTY RYAN, his right-hand man, approaches.
RUSTY: “What’s the plan, Danny?”
DANNY: “We hit three casinos in one night, each with their own unique security system. But we’ve got the best of the best on our team. We’ll start scouting them out tomorrow.”
RUSTY: “Who do we need?”
DANNY: “We need Livingston, Basher, Yen, Turk, Virgil, Frank, Saul, and Linus. And I have someone in mind for the final spot.”
RUSTY: “Who?”
DANNY: “My ex-wife, Tess. She owns one of the casinos we plan to hit.”

Danny and Rusty walk down the Strip, discussing their plans. Frank Catton is sitting at the bar, nursing a drink. Rusty Ryan approaches him.

Frank looks intrigued.

Basher Tarr is setting up explosives.

We hit ’em at the same time. Twin peaks style.
RUSTY:
Yeah, but how do we get past their security?
DANNY:
We’ve got the best team in the business. We’ll find a way.
As they drive, they see the first casino on their list.
DANNY:
That’s the Bellagio. They’ve got a state-of-the-art security system.
RUSTY:
No problem for us. We’ll just need to make sure our guy on the inside knows what he’s doing.
Danny nods in agreement.
DANNY:
Next up is the Mirage. They’ve got tight security too, but it’s more old-school. We’ll need to be careful.
RUSTY:
We’ve got that covered. We’ll have our tech guy hack into their system and create some diversions.
They drive past the Mirage and onto the next casino.
DANNY:
The MGM Grand. They’ve got the most guards out of the three. But they’re also the most predictable.
RUSTY:
Which makes them the easiest to manipulate.
Danny smiles.
DANNY:
That’s what I like about you, Rusty. You always see the angle.
RUSTY:
Just doing my job, boss.
They drive on, deep in thought as they plan the heist of a lifetime.

Okay, let’s go over this again. We hit the Bellagio first. Saul, you’ll take care of the security alarms. Linus, you’ll pose as the doctor doing a check-up on a high roller. Basher, you’ll create a distraction with the fireworks display.
RUSTY RYAN
Then we move on to the Mirage, right?
DANNY OCEAN
Right. Turk, you’ll be in charge of the cameras. Livingston, you’ll channel the power to the elevator. Yen, you’ll take care of the vault.
RUSTY RYAN
And last but not least, we hit the MGM Grand.
DANNY OCEAN
Bobby, you’ll take care of the air conditioning. Frank, you’ll pose as a high roller. Virgil and Turk, you’ll create another distraction with the fake earthquake.
RUSTY RYAN
Sounds like a solid plan.
DANNY OCEAN
We’ve got three days until the heist. Let’s make sure we’re all on the same page.
The team nods in agreement and begins to go over the plan again.
As they work, Danny can’t help but think about Tess, the casino owner and his ex-wife. He knows he’s risking everything by doing this heist, but he can’t resist the thrill.
DANNY OCEAN (V.O.)
I know I’m playing with fire. But the thought of pulling off the ultimate heist, and maybe winning Tess back in the process… it’s too good to pass up.
Rusty notices the conflicted look on Danny’s face.
RUSTY RYAN
Danny, you okay?
DANNY OCEAN
Yeah, I’m good. Let’s get back to work.
The team continues to plan and prepare for what will be the biggest heist in history.

FADE IN:
INT. BELLAGIO – NIGHT
Danny and his team, dressed in suits, are walking through the casino floor, scoping out the place.
DANNY
(whispering)
Okay, everyone remember their roles. Linus, you got the elevator cards?
LINUS
(nervously)
Yeah, I got them.
RUSTY
(to Linus)
You’re doing great, kid.
As they walk, Livingston spots something suspicious.
LIVINGSTON
(whispering)
Guys, we got a problem.
The security team is seen watching them on monitors.
ALEX
(whispering)
Shit, they’re onto us.
DANNY
(calming)
It’s okay. We knew this was a possibility.
They continue walking, but the security guards soon approach them.
SECURITY GUARD
(to Danny)
Can I see some ID, sir?
Danny smiles and hands over a fake ID.
SECURITY GUARD
(looking at the ID)
Okay, sorry to bother you.
The team continues walking, but Rusty stops Danny.
RUSTY
(whispering)
Danny, I don’t like this. We should abort.
DANNY
(whispering)
No, we stick to the plan. We can’t let them stop us now.
The team continues, but as they near the vault room, they’re stopped by more security guards.
SECURITY GUARD #2
(to Danny)
I’m sorry sir, but we can’t let you go any further.
Danny looks around, and in a split second, grabs Tess and kisses her passionately.
DANNY
(interrupting the kiss)
Thanks for the tip, I’ll be sure to tell Mr. Benedict.
The guards let them pass, still dazed by the kiss.
The team enters the vault room and start filling their bags with money.
ALEX
(whispering)
We’re almost done, let’s get out of here.
But as they start to leave, they’re caught off guard by another group of security guards, and a frantic chase ensues.
DANNY
(to the team)
Split up, it’s each man for himself!
The team members run in different directions, narrowly escaping the guards and making their way to the rendezvous point.

Scene 6
FADE IN:
EXT. LAS VEGAS STRIP – NIGHT
Danny Ocean and his team move stealthily through the crowded streets of Las Vegas, each member dressed in their carefully crafted disguise. They approach their third target, the Sands Casino, with a sense of cautious determination.
DANNY OCEAN
(to the team)
Okay, we’re going to have to deviate from the plan a bit. Are you all with me?
The team nods in agreement.
RUSTY RYAN
(whispering)
We’re with you, Danny. What’s the new plan?
DANNY OCEAN
(whispering)
We’re going to have to improvise. We can’t risk being caught.
As they enter the casino, the team begins to split up, each member taking on their designated role. Yen, the acrobat, climbs to the roof of the casino to bypass security cameras. Livingston, the tech expert, hacks into the security system. Meanwhile, Linus, the rookie, attempts to seduce an employee in order to gain access to a restricted area.
LINUS CALDWELL
(flirting)
Hey there, beautiful. Mind if I take a little peek in the vault?
EMPLOYEE
(smiling)
I’m not supposed to let anyone in there, but for you, I’ll make an exception.
As Linus sneaks into the vault, he discovers an unexpected obstacle: the vault is rigged with a motion sensor that will set off the alarms if anyone enters.
LINUS CALDWELL
(whispering to himself)
Okay, think, think. What can we do?
Meanwhile, Danny and Rusty pose as high rollers on the casino floor, drawing attention away from the rest of the team. But they soon find themselves face-to-face with a familiar adversary: Terry Benedict, the owner of the casinos they’re robbing.
TERRY BENEDICT
(smiling)
Well, well, well. Look who it is. Danny Ocean and Rusty Ryan. I should have known you two would be up to something.
DANNY OCEAN
(coolly)
Just enjoying a little gambling, Terry. How about you?

As the tension builds, Linus races to find a solution to the motion sensor. He grabs a nearby duffel bag and tosses it into the vault, setting off the motion sensor.
ALARM SOUNDS
The team quickly comes together to grab as much money as they can carry and make their escape. But just as they think they’ve made it out, they’re confronted by a group of police officers.
POLICE OFFICER
(holding up a photo)
Is this you, Danny Ocean?
Danny takes a deep breath, then smiles.
DANNY OCEAN
(flashing his ID)
As a matter of fact, it is. We were just on our way out, officers. You don’t mind if we take our winnings with us, do you?
The officers hesitate for a moment, then nod as Danny and his team walk calmly out of the casino.

Scene 7
EXT. LAS VEGAS STRIP – NIGHT
Danny Ocean and Rusty Ryan are in a heated conversation as they make their way down the strip.
DANNY:
How could they have found out? We were so careful.
RUSTY:
We may have a rat. Someone on the inside.
Danny looks at Rusty, his expression hardening.
DANNY:
Who?
RUSTY:
I don’t know yet. I’m working on it.
Danny nods, deep in thought.
DANNY:
We can’t let this get out of control. We need to find the leak and seal it shut.
RUSTY:
Agreed. But we still have a heist to finish. We can’t let this distract us.
They both pause outside the Bellagio.
DANNY:
Alright. Let’s go finish this thing.
INT. BELLAGIO – VAULT ROOM
The team has just cracked the vault and they’re loading the money into bags. Linus Caldwell is on lookout duty when his phone rings.
LINUS:
(whispering)
Hello?
VOICE:
(on phone)
The police are on their way. You need to get out of there.
Linus nods and quickly ends the call.
LINUS:
Guys, we gotta move. The cops are on their way.
The team scrambles to finish loading the money when the vault door suddenly slams shut. Panic sets in as the team realizes they’re trapped.
Danny looks around, trying to assess the situation.
DANNY:
We’ve been set up. Someone knew we were coming.
RUSTY:
We have to find a way out of here.
The team works quickly to come up with a plan, but they’re running out of time.
Suddenly, the door bursts open and SWAT teams flood the room.
Danny and Rusty exchange a look, knowing that their only chance is to surrender.
DANNY:
(to Rusty)
We’ll deal with the rat later. Right now, we need to get out of here alive.
They put their hands up and the screen fades to black.
Scene 8
FADE IN:
INT. VENETIAN HOTEL & CASINO – NIGHT
Danny and his team are in the middle of their heist. The alarms have been triggered, and security is closing in on them.
DANNY
(speaking into his earpiece)
We’re almost done here, guys. How much time do we have left?
RUSTY
(through the earpiece)
We’re cutting it close, Danny. Ten minutes, max.
Danny nods to the team, and they quickly move to the next casino.
CUT TO:
INT. BELLAGIO HOTEL AND CASINO – NIGHT
The team is in the middle of their second heist. They’ve encountered some unexpected challenges, but they’re still on track.
LINUS
(speaking into his earpiece)
Guys, there’s a problem. The security guards are onto us.
Danny and Rusty exchange a look, then quickly begin to improvise.
DANNY
(calmly)
Alright, we need a distraction. Yen, can you do your thing?
YEN, a contortionist, nods and begins to contort himself into a small, confined space, drawing the attention of the guards.
Meanwhile, the rest of the team fights off the guards and continues with the heist.
CUT TO:
INT. MGM GRAND HOTEL & CASINO – NIGHT
The team arrives at their final destination, exhausted but determined. As they make their way through the casino, they’re confronted by a wall of security guards.
BASHER
(panicked)
We’re done for, lads. It’s over.
But Danny remains calm.
DANNY
(smiling)
Not yet, it isn’t.
He pulls out a remote control and presses a button. Suddenly, the fountains outside the casino explode, creating a massive distraction for the guards and allowing the team to slip in unnoticed.
CUT TO:
INT. MGM GRAND VAULT – NIGHT
The team finally reaches the vault, but they’re met with one final obstacle. Rusty tries to crack the safe, but they’ve run out of time.
RUSTY
(desperately)
It’s not working, Danny. We don’t have enough time.
Danny takes a deep breath, then pulls out a canister of explosive material.
DANNY
(smiling)
We don’t need time.
He sets the explosives, then leads the team out of the vault just as it explodes behind them. They make their way out of the casino, carrying bags of money and feeling triumphant.

The team drives off into the night, feeling exhilarated and victorious. Danny looks over at Tess, who smiles at him.
TESS

Danny grins.

The team sits in silence, looking out at the neon-lit Vegas skyline.
RUSTY: (breaking the silence) So, what now?
DANNY: We lay low. Keep a low profile until things cool down.
LINUS: What about the money?
DANNY: It’s taken care of. Split it up and stash it somewhere safe.
Livingston looks uncomfortable.
LIVINGSTON: There’s something I need to tell you guys.
The team turns to look at him.
LIVINGSTON: The money. It’s not all there.
Everyone is shocked.
DANNY: What do you mean it’s not all there?
LIVINGSTON: I don’t know. Maybe I miscalculated or…
Basher stands up, angry.
BASHER: You stole from us, you bloody accountant!
LIVINGSTON: No, I swear! I didn’t take any money!
DANNY: (calmly) Alright, let’s not jump to conclusions. We’ll figure this out.
Tess enters, looking worried.
TESS: Danny, we have a problem.
DANNY: What is it?
TESS: The police have a lead on us. They’re searching for anyone who fits our descriptions.
DANNY: (nodding) Alright, we need to leave. Now.
Everyone starts packing their bags, but there’s a sense of unease in the air.
LINUS: Hey, Danny?
DANNY: What is it, Linus?
LINUS: I just wanted to say…thanks. For everything.
Danny smiles.
