Amélie is on a mission. She drops off love letters to various people around Paris, including a young couple who are fighting and a blind man who has been feeling lonely. Amélie watches from afar as they read the letters and smiles with satisfaction.
CUT TO:
INT. CAFÉ – DAY
Amélie is behind the counter making coffee when her coworker, Luc, walks in.
LUC:
Hey, I heard you’ve been causing quite a stir with those love letters.
AMÉLIE:
(laughing)
Oh, it’s just a little something to make people happy.
LUC:
Well, it’s working. I even heard that the young couple have made up.
Amélie smiles with satisfaction as she continues to serve customers.

Scene 4
FADE IN:
INT. PARISIAN STREET – DAY
AMELIE, a shy and quirky young woman, is walking down the streets of Paris when she accidentally bumps into a handsome stranger, NICO. They exchange a brief glance before going their separate ways.
INT. AMELIE’S APARTMENT – NIGHT
Amelie can’t stop thinking about Nico and decides to write him a love letter. She spends hours crafting the perfect message before sneaking into his apartment building and slipping the letter under his door.
INT. NICO’S APARTMENT – DAY
Nico finds Amelie’s letter and is immediately intrigued by the mysterious woman who wrote it. He reads the letter over and over again, unable to shake the feeling that he needs to meet her.
INT. PARISIAN CAFÉ – DAY
Amelie is working at the café when Nico walks in. They lock eyes and Amelie can feel her heart racing. Nico walks up to her and introduces himself, revealing that he found her letter. They strike up a conversation and realize they have a lot in common.
INT. PARISIAN PARK – DAY
Amelie and Nico take a romantic stroll through a Parisian park. They talk about their hopes and dreams, and Amelie opens up about her fear of taking risks.
NICO
It’s okay to be afraid, but sometimes you just have to take a chance.
AMELIE
(smiling)
I think I’m willing to take that chance with you.
Nico takes Amelie’s hand and they share a kiss as the sun sets behind them.

FADE IN:
INT. AMÉLIE’S APARTMENT – DAY
Amélie nervously paces around her cozy apartment, biting her nails as she looks at the clock. She glances at the homemade love letter she wrote and left for the handsome stranger in his apartment.
AMÉLIE (to herself)
What if he hates it? What if he thinks I’m crazy?
She jumps as her phone rings, and she sees it’s her best friend, Charlotte.
AMÉLIE (answering the phone)
Hey, Charlotte.
CHARLOTTE (excitedly)
Have you checked your email yet?
AMÉLIE (confused)
No, why?
CHARLOTTE
Just do it now! You won’t regret it.
Amélie quickly grabs her laptop and logs in to her email. She sees a video message from the handsome stranger, who introduces himself as Nico.
NICO (on the screen)
Hello, Amélie. I just wanted to say thank you for the letter. It was so sweet and unexpected.
Amélie squeals with excitement as Nico continues to talk.
NICO (cont’d)
I was wondering if you’d like to meet up sometime? Maybe for a drink?
Amélie’s heart skips a beat as she nods eagerly.
AMÉLIE
Yes, yes, that would be wonderful.
NICO
Great. How about tonight? I know the perfect place.
Amélie agrees, and they make arrangements to meet later that evening.
CUT TO:
INT. COZY RESTAURANT – NIGHT
Amélie nervously fidgets with her dress as she waits for Nico to arrive. She sees him walking towards her, and her heart races.
NICO
(smiling)
Amélie, it’s so good to see you.
AMÉLIE
(smiling back)
You too, Nico.
The two sit down and begin chatting, laughing, and sharing stories. As the night goes on, they realize there’s something special between them.
Suddenly, Nico’s phone rings, and his face drops as he answers.
NICO (on the phone)
What? No, I’ll be there in five.
Amélie watches as Nico hangs up and looks at her apologetically.
NICO (to Amélie)
I’m so sorry, but I have to go. There’s a family emergency.
AMÉLIE
(nodding understandingly)
Of course. I hope everything’s okay.
NICO
(sincerely)
Thank you. I’ll make it up to you, I promise.
As Nico rushes out, Amélie smiles to herself, feeling optimistic about their future together.
