But as they stood there, looking out at the destruction they had wrought, there was a glimmer of hope. A new day was dawning, and with it came the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
“We did what we had to do,” Rick said. “And we did it together.”
Evy smiled, and Rick knew that they would face whatever the future held, together. They had been through so much together, and they had come out the other side stronger for it.

JONATHAN: Looks like some kind of ruins.
EVELYN: Fascinating. We should investigate.
The group moves towards the ruins, cautiously approaching the entrance. As they enter, they are met with darkness and the musty smell of ancient tombs.
RICK: Keep your eyes peeled. Who knows what could be down here.
As they explore, they come across an ancient sarcophagus with strange inscriptions.
EVELYN: Wait, I recognize this. It’s the tomb of Imhotep, the high priest who was cursed for his forbidden love.

There it is. The ruins of Hamunaptra.
EVELYN
(wide-eyed)
It’s beautiful.
JONATHAN
(smiling nervously)
And cursed, don’t forget cursed.
RICK
(nodding)
Right. We’ll have to be careful.
As they approach the ruins, they notice strange symbols etched into the walls.
EVELYN
(translating)
These symbols represent a warning. They say that those who disturb the resting place of Imhotep will unleash a curse upon the world.
JONATHAN

Maybe we should turn back.

The group emerges from the ruins, with Imhotep close behind. They race across the desert, with the curse following them.
RICK
(panting)
We have to find a way to stop him.
JONATHAN
(desperately)
What can we do?
EVELYN
(determined)
We have to find a way to destroy the curse.
As the curse closes in on them, the group hatches a plan to trap Imhotep and destroy the curse once and for all.

As they start to exit, they’re ambushed by Imhotep and his army of the undead.

We have to keep pushing, don’t let them get any closer to the temple!
The team fights tirelessly, but the undead army keeps coming. Even with the help of the Medjai warriors, they seem to be outnumbered.
Suddenly, the ground beneath them begins to shake. The temple starts to crumble, and the walls cave in. Rick and his team are thrown off balance, and they struggle to keep fighting.
IMHOTEP
(laughing)
This temple has stood for thousands of years! What makes you think you can defeat it?
With that, Imhotep uses his powers to create a powerful shockwave that sends the team flying. Rick hits the ground hard, and his vision blurs for a moment. When he looks up, he sees Imhotep approaching him, his eyes glowing with power.
RICK
(grimly)
You may have won this battle, but you won’t win the war.
