Another version of Despicable Me 2 that you never heard before.
Once a notorious villain, Gru had turned over a new leaf and become a loving father and successful businessman known for his delicious jello treats. Despite his newfound happiness, Gru couldn’t shake the feeling of longing for the adventurous life of a villain he once led alongside his trusted partner, Dr. Nefario.
One day, Gru was kidnapped by the reckless and skilled agent Lucy, who revealed that her agency had developed a gene-altering drug. Their laboratory in Antarctica had been stolen by a mysterious thief, and they needed Gru’s expertise as a former villain to go undercover and retrieve it. After much contemplation, Gru accepted the mission and assembled a team of his adorable Minions and Lucy to set off on a hilarious pursuit of the thief.
As they navigated through challenges and obstacles, Gru found himself reconnecting with his inner villain and relishing the thrill of the hunt. Along the way, he and Lucy formed a dynamic and comical partnership, and Gru even began to see her as a potential new partner in crime.
As Gru and his team closed in on the thief, they faced numerous unexpected setbacks. The thief had set up elaborate traps and obstacles in their path, forcing them to use their cunning and quick thinking to overcome them. At one point, they were even ambushed by a group of henchmen hired by the thief, but they were able to fight them off and continue their pursuit.
In the final confrontation, the thief revealed themselves to be none other than Dr. Nefario, who had turned against Gru and sought to use the stolen laboratory for his own nefarious purposes. A tense showdown ensued, with Gru and his team ultimately emerging victorious.
Despite the triumph, Gru couldn’t shake the feeling of betrayal and hurt at the actions of his former friend. As he returned home, he struggled to come to terms with what had happened and how it would affect his relationships moving forward.
In the end, Gru decided to focus on the good that had come from the mission – he had regained a sense of adventure and excitement in his life, and had formed a strong bond with his new partner, Lucy. One particularly close call came when his arch-nemesis, Vector, learned of his secret identity and kidnapped Gru’s family in an attempt to get revenge. Gru had to use all of his cunning and resources to rescue them and defeat Vector once and for all.
Despite the risks, Gru was determined to continue living his double life. He knew that it was the only way he could have the excitement and adventure he craved, while still being able to provide for and protect his family.
In the end, it all paid off. Gru’s jello business continued to thrive, and he and his family were happy and healthy. And every now and then, Gru would sneak out for a secret mission with Lucy and the Minions, relishing in the thrill of villainy and the satisfaction of doing good.

INT. GRU’S LIVING ROOM – DAY
Gru sits on the couch, flipping through a villain magazine. His wife, Lucy, walks in with a tray of jello treats.
Lucy: “Hey honey, I made your favorite jello treats. You’ve been looking a little down lately, I thought it might cheer you up.”
Gru: (sighs) “Thanks, but I don’t think jello is going to fix what’s wrong. I miss being a villain.”
Lucy: “I know you do, but you’ve changed. You’re a loving father and a successful businessman now. You have a new purpose in life.”
Gru: “But it’s not the same. It’s not exciting. I miss the thrill of the hunt, the rush of adrenaline. I miss Dr. Nefario.”
Lucy: “I know, but Dr. Nefario betrayed you. He’s not the friend you remember.”
Gru: (stands up) “You’re right. I need to move on. I need to find a new way to have excitement in my life.”
Lucy: (smiles) “Maybe there’s a way to have both. You have a unique set of skills, Gru. Maybe you can use them for good instead of evil.”
Gru: (pauses, then smiles) “You know what, you’re right. I can be a loving father and a successful businessman by day, and a crime-fighting jello mogul by night. It’s the perfect balance.”
Lucy: (laughs) “I knew you could do it, honey. Now let’s go save the world – one jello treat at a time.”
Gru and Lucy exit the living room, arm in arm, ready for their next adventure.

INT. ANTARCTIC LABORATORY – DAY
Gru, Lucy, and the Minions stand in front of the stolen laboratory, surveying the scene.
Lucy: “This is it, Gru. The laboratory where the gene-altering drug was developed. We need to find out who stole it and where they took it.”
Gru: “Right. Minions, start searching the lab. Look for any clues or evidence that might help us.”
The Minions nod and scatter, searching the lab. Gru and Lucy split up and begin their own search.
Suddenly, Gru finds a hidden door in the wall. He opens it and sees a control room filled with computers and monitors.
Gru: “Lucy, over here! I think I found something.”
Lucy rushes over and they both enter the control room. They begin to search the computers, looking for any clues.
Suddenly, one of the monitors lights up and Dr. Nefario’s face appears on the screen.
Dr. Nefario: “Gru, I see you’ve found my hidden control room. I’ve been expecting you.”
Gru: (shocked) “Dr. Nefario, what are you doing? You were my partner, my friend. Why did you betray me?”
Dr. Nefario: (laughs) “I betrayed you because I knew you were weak, Gru. You’ve gone soft since becoming a father and a jello mogul. I wanted the power of the gene-altering drug for myself. And now that you’re here, I have the perfect test subject – you.”
Gru: (angrily) “I won’t let you use me as a guinea pig, Nefario. I may have changed, but I’m still a force to be reckoned with.”
Dr. Nefario: (smirks) “We’ll see about that, Gru. Prepare to face the full power of the gene-altering drug.”
Dr. Nefario presses a button and the room begins to fill with gas. Gru and Lucy cover their mouths and noses, trying to hold their breath.
FADE TO BLACK.
INT. ANTARCTIC LABORATORY – DAY
Gru and Lucy lie on the floor, unconscious. The Minions rush in and see them.
Minion 1: “Oh no! Gru and Lucy are unconscious! What do we do?”
Minion 2: “We have to save them! But how?”
Minion 3: “I have an idea! We can use the gene-altering drug to save them!”
The Minions rush over to the control room and locate the gene-altering drug. They quickly inject Gru and Lucy with the serum, hoping it will save them.
Suddenly, Gru and Lucy stir and open their eyes. They look at each other, confused and disoriented.
Gru: “What happened? Where am I?”
Lucy: “We were attacked by Dr. Nefario. He used the gene-altering drug on us.”
Gru: (looks down at his hands) “I can feel it. The serum is starting to take effect. We’re changing.”
Lucy: (looks at her own hands) “We need to stop it. We can’t let the serum control us.”
Gru and Lucy struggle to maintain control over their bodies as the serum continues to take effect. They cling to each other, trying to stay strong.
Suddenly, the serum reaches its full potential and Gru and Lucy’s bodies begin to transform. They grow stronger and more powerful, their senses heightened.
Gru: (grins) “I feel amazing. This serum has given us superhuman abilities.”
Lucy: (smiles) “We can use these abilities to defeat Dr. Nefario and stop him from using the serum for evil.”
Gru and Lucy stand up, ready to face their former friend and stop his plans once and for all.
FADE TO BLACK.
INT. ANTARCTIC LABORATORY – DAY
Gru and Lucy, now with superhuman abilities, face off against Dr. Nefario. He looks surprised and frightened at their transformation.
Dr. Nefario: “What have you done, Gru? You’ve become a monster like me.”
Gru: (angrily) “I’m not a monster, Nefario. I’m a hero. And I’m going to stop you from using the serum for evil.”
Dr. Nefario: (laughs) “You can’t stop me, Gru. I’m too powerful. I’ll destroy you and take the serum for myself.”
Dr. Nefario charges at Gru and Lucy, but they are able to easily dodge and counter his attacks. Using their superhuman abilities, they are able to overpower him and knock him to the ground.
Gru: (panting) “It’s over, Nefario. You’ve lost. The serum is ours.”
Dr. Nefario: (defeated) “Fine. Take the serum. But you’ll never be able to control it. It will consume you, just like it did me.”
Gru: (looks at Lucy) “We’ll make sure that doesn’t happen. We’ll use the serum for good, to help people. And we’ll make sure it never falls into the wrong hands again.”
Lucy: (nods) “We’ll make sure of it, Gru. Together, we can do anything.”
Gru and Lucy share a look of determination and hope, ready to face whatever challenges come their way in the future.

INT. GRU’S LIVING ROOM – DAY
Gru sits on the couch, flipping through a superhero magazine. His wife, Lucy, walks in with a tray of jello treats.
Lucy: “Hey honey, I made your favorite jello treats. You’ve been looking a little down lately, I thought it might cheer you up.”
Gru: (smiles) “Thanks, that’s sweet. But I’m not down. I’m just thinking about how lucky I am to have you and the kids, and to be able to use my abilities for good.”
Lucy: (sits next to him) “I know, honey. I’m lucky to have you too. And I’m glad we’re able to use our powers to help people and make the world a better place.”
Gru: (puts down the magazine) “You know, I never thought I’d say this, but I’m actually happy being a superhero. It’s not as thrilling as being a villain, but it’s fulfilling in a different way.”
Lucy: (laughs) “I think that’s a good thing, honey. And who knows, maybe one day we’ll be able to retire and live a normal life. But for now, let’s enjoy the adventure and excitement of being superheroes.”
Gru: (stands up, grinning) “You’re right. Let’s go save the world – one jello treat at a time.”
Gru and Lucy exit the living room, ready for their next adventure.
